My build was fine without them. It isn't about some percentage points off gear that is the problem, it's taking a rifle and making it as garbage as everything else.Originally Posted by Hansem1979 Go to original post

Because it kills their progression.
And yet, being the most efficient Option results in being the most viable Option and people always gonna go for that.

It's not about it being the only viable weapon in the game..The problem was it was one of the few viable weapons in it's class..
Most times I ran an M1a with a m44 carbine not because the M1a was meta, but because I just like watching heads pop and legs go limp or spinning a guy in cover..lol

Don't insult our intelligence Massive. This is a new low, if that even was possible.
Classic M1A and Baker's Dozen
Reduced damage by approximately 40%
Community team comment: This change was intentional and we apologize it was not in the original Patch Notes. Due to a lapse in communication, it didn't make into the list.
I expected the M1A to get a small nerf in this update, and was surprised when there was nothing in the patch notes. But a FORTY PERCENT cut in base damage? Seriously? And you neglected to mention it in the patch notes yesterday, then quietly updated them today with this change?
The single biggest, most controversial nerf in this entire update wasn't listed due to a "lapse in communication"?
Starting to wonder if maybe Massive are every bit as incompetent as they are accused of being sometimes.
