Whatever. You always have this lapse in communication. You would think since effing Divison 1 you would be on top of this by now.Classic M1A and Baker's Dozen
- Reduced damage by approximately 40%
Community team comment: This change was intentional and we apologize it was not in the original Patch Notes. Due to a lapse in communication, it didn't make into the list.
I dont even really care you nerfed it. I knew you would. I think you didnt nerf it as much as completely negate it because why would I run a gun that only has 3 attachments and fires 180rpm when I could run the SAME GUN with 4 attachments and 360rpm. But hey it is your dumpster fire I just have nothing else to play atm.
But hey whatever allows you to keep extending that carrot.
How about next you fix the TP so that it repairs the team and not just the player. Or fix the fact that my shield when full flag kills me because it effing explodes when I holster it. Which isnt a big deal in PvE but is a HUGE deal in the DZ.
Or how about items being on the ground be on a timer so I dont have to log out of your game to reset the instance I am on because I am lagging out in the DZ from all the utter garbage that I cant pick up from killing things.
Or Christ JUST FIX EFFING STAIRS THAT I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO RUN DOWN SINCE THE DIVISION 1, AND IS STILL IN THE GAME.
I picked up playing again after WONY and had been enjoying myself since then logging in almost every day for a little bit of time. I logged in this morning without reading any patch notes and noticed the game was no longer fun. It seemed awesome before, but now I just don't feel like playing with the rifle changes. I am more upset that I no longer want to play than I am with the devs making idiotic decisions.
i cant see a reason for them to leave it out of the notes intentionally. Its not like people werent going to notice, everyone was expecting it although taking 40% off was a bit of a surprise id be willing to bet. I think the more glaring issue is that there was a weapon in the game that needed a 40% adjustment to get in line with the other weapons in its class. How does that even happen??
Pretty much, but they just love to nerf weapons in both PVE and PVP because it's easier than doing it the right way.Originally Posted by Trep06 Go to original post
It's not so much a difference in gameplay. Many were expecting it, and it had even been mentioned before.Originally Posted by karthunk Go to original post
I think (my opinion only - possibly shared) what aggravates a lot of people on the forums currently is that the patch notes were released a couple of days ago, and many comments were made regarding the lack of M1A alteration, including on YT. Ubisoft had days to update the notes if they so chose to. It was their decision to update the notes after the fact, and therefore the backlash is understandable.
As a frame of reference, if your menu says there's no bacon on your burger, but the waiter says there is, you can feel excited that you're getting bacon, even though you read on the menu you wouldn't be getting it. So, when your burger comes with no bacon, you can feel slightly cheated since you were told it would be there. This is what happened here - devs said that the M1A would be getting hit, but the notes said otherwise, so many were hopeful.
It's not being a drama queen when hopes are crushed. It's anger.
Personally, I switched back to the Police MK17 with Rifleman and seem to be doing fine. Alternatively, the Diamondback hits hard if that's your goal. I'd rather move on that complain.
Another fan boi trying to distract from the incompetence of these clowns by flaming the posters.Originally Posted by karthunk Go to original post
