I'm also having this issue. Had it since mid yesterday 4/20/2020. I was very much looking forward to grinding out some XP and this issue is preventing that! No one has mentioned this so I figured I would. When looking at the screen that says "requirements not met" for every game mode, arcade and training, on the right in red lettering it says group leader only. In the training menu it says only the group leader can start. It's like the game thinks I'm in a group when I'm not. Also in the Game Menu -> profile view, player performance is zeroed out and non of my history is there for "match history". I hope the developers can fix this sooner than later because I scheduled my time today and yesterday to get a grind in. I'm very disappointed.
I'm happy to report that the game started working for me again as of this afternoon. I'll let you know if the problem reappears in the next few days.
Not sure if the Devs corrected the issue on their end as the moderator said they would but here's some of the troubleshooting steps and things I noticed.
1. I read somewhere that the bug was related to the friends list, so I deleted all my friendsThe issue persisted after doing so, so I can't say definitively whether or not this was a fix.
2. Some snowflake reported my naughty language and I received a notice from Ubisoft that this triggered some weeb. Maybe I was under a temporary ban? If you have this problem check your email, Gmail filtered it to the "Promotions" tab for some reason. If there was any account action besides the warning, I wasn't notified of it.
3. It's possible that the date 4/20 had some bearing on available manpower to fix backend problems at the server hub.
My game started working again as well this evening. However, I was monitoring reddit and this same problem kept popping up by dozens of people over the last 48 hours-ish.Originally Posted by Freedom40OZ2 Go to original post
Alot of us have the same ISP in common, Comcast, and the locations vary from midewest, east coast, and in the south, so it's not a problem localized on your end per say. This is somewhat leading me to believe it might have something to do with an error occurring in one of the hops in the backbone network Comcast is leasing we all might share on the way to Ubi's server location. Or something wasn't set up right in the way Ubi's server was receiving protocol from this specific incoming route. I dunno, just spouting nonsense at this point I guess.
Either way in researching this problem with FH I was kinda irritated to see this is a bug that can get triggered that's been around for years. I'd like to know what it is and how to prevent it. For instance if it is a backbone routing issue, using a VPN to get routed in a different way should fix that on your end until the actual issue is sorted out.
OR, this could not even be a network issue at all, and it's just some actual bug in the software that somehow gets triggered on accounts.
My game works for now but I'm cautiously optimistic about it staying that way lolz.
I'm an overall rep 129 and for the past 3 days I have not been able to play For Honor. Upon logging in I'm unable to play Any and all of the game modes because of (requirements not met-group leader only) however I'm not in a group. This prevents me from doing any and all of the in game troubleshooting methods to try and correct this issue to allow for online game play however I'm locked out of all training and story mode levels as well though I have completed them all already several times. The next message I get shortly after is a connection to Ubisoft error message with a 7-0000004 code and because of that get kicked out but am able to return back to main menu mode selection screen? I have done everything I've found on the online forum to try and correct this issue. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game, tested and switched connection from lan to wireless and back, changed the DNS, restarted my PS4 and router several times and still nothing. My internet connection speed when tested is always fast and It's says that only the Xbox server was under maintenance on the online For Honor and Twitter page right now so I don't understand where this issue is coming from and or how to now go about fixing it being as I've done everything that I've read from the Ubisoft and FH support pages and have gotten now where but stuck with the same issue. Again Not even restarting router counsel or changing the IP address has helped this so I'm lost and extremely frustrated about what to do and how to go about fixing it. Non of the devs from Ubisoft or For Honor have reached back out so I'm at a complete stand still!
Also might I add that I play with my nephew through parties on PS4 as well and he hasn't had any of these issues neither has his younger brother who plays the game as well however on Xbox. Not only that but I had friends online playing in Dominion as well as my nephew's yesterday as I was trying to go about fixing it when it wouldn't even allow me to join his group on top of everything else that I previously mentioned.
