That is the only reason I don’t use those characters because they are gender locked at the beginning you guys said every character would have a male and female variant why didn’t you stick to it

I imagine they would've used their limited resources elsewhere. They have at least taken note of people with this problem, as all the Y4 heroes are gender select-able. I agree it would be nice to see a male peacekeeper, male noboshi, female lawbringer etc. but we have to be realistic at this point, Ubi is a business and they have to make a profit. I'm assuming For Honor isn't one of their best money makers. Ubi can only devote a limited number of devs, a limited amount of time, money etc. before it becomes a loss and not a profit.

You could argue that they could work on adding new content such as new genders for existing heroes, new maps or working on the improving game play mechanics. However at the end of the day, such a thing as adding new genders is a pretty big gamble, probably not one they are willing to devote months of work on to get next to no financial gain out of.
