Help! Already have game but can't install | Forums

So a long while back I got For Honor, played a bit then stop playing. Fast forward to now and I've gotten a new computer and I'm checking out For Honor again. I have access to my UPlay but when I go to install it, it brings me to steam saying I have to buy it again. I don't feel like spending $15 again can anyone help me?

If you're being directed to Steam in order to install For Honor, this usually indicates that the game was originally purchased through Steam.
If you install the game from Steam using the account the game was purchased on, you should be able to play

Well you were utterly unhelpful. I have the same issue but I don't have access to that old Steam account because it was hacked.

I am sorry to hear that you are unable to access your original Steam account.

As you bought the games from Steam, you would need to speak to Steam for any refund requests. We cannot refund a purchase from another platform.
