Hello,
since I've been playing this game (2 months c.a) I've had an incredibly Big Issue.
Here's what happens:
sometimes, while I'm playing For Honor (or just have the game open on PS4), the entire connection crashes, and it happens ONLY with this game.
What does it mean? That the Router literally resets automatically. I have no Idea how this could even be possible, but it's pissing me off.
How often does this happen? It's completely casual. Sometimes it crashes 2-5 times a day, sometimes I don't even have this issue.
The ps4 is connected to the Router through a TP-LINK TL-PA4010P (I don't know how it's called).
I'm gonna repeat because I want this to be very clear. All this happens only while I'm Playing FOR HONOR. Every other game that requires an internet connection DOES NOT HAVE this problem. They work just fine.
Hi DaFreesy!
Has this always happened?
Do you get any particular error message(s) when this happens?
Can you go through the steps found here, especially the part about port forwarding. This will ensure your connection is set up correctly for the game.
Please let us know if the same problem is still occurring after this.
First of all, thank you for being here helping me. Yes it has Always happened.
I'm gonna be very clear: I'm not going to do the port-forwarding. If every other single game works just fine, with stable connection and no lag, even For Honor has to be able to. Watch this from a user's perspective. Why sould I Directly Connect to Ubisoft's servers? It's been years since this game is out and I still read incredible amounts of complaints from players all over the internet. Isn't this something Ubisoft should be working on?
I hope I've been clear. Still, thanks a lot for replying (I know that, as a customer service, you're not really into this, you're not directly the ones who work on this).
Hey DaFreesy,
Thanks for getting back to me.
I would suggest that you reach out to our Live-Chat team and provide them with screenshots of your port-forwarding setup, so it can be reviewed.
I would also advise that you tell them who your ISP is as well, it can assist with the investigation.
