Hi
I've seen pictures and videos that Breakpoint has quite much ain effect but I don't have almost any.
I'm running Breakpoint with Vulkan. Using GTX 1070 with up to date drivers and All settings are high to ultra.
Or maybe there shouldn't be any?

Hey UmmiQ, thanks for the screenshots!
I see what you mean, it looks a lot more clear in Photo Mode. Does this happenwith Vulkan only? Please verify your game files and test again.
If this doesn't work, please send us a screenshot of your graphics settings.

This is non Vulkan graphics:
And it's the same with Vulkan and everything maxed.
But hey- the FPS with Vulkan is waaaaay better. Amazing![]()
Hello UmmiQ,
While Ubi-Spud sends this to our dev team, I would like to offer a suggestion.
In my experience rain effects are often affected a lot by your sharpening settings. Perhaps try a different sharpening method instead of FidelityFX, or raising / lowering the sharpening intensity.
All the best!
That's an interesting thought. I tested it and it seems that after I turn off AA the rain comes more visible but then again, weirdly enough, the GPU resource usage rises quite a lot and FPS drops drastically. Without AA the image is quite awful thoughOriginally Posted by Ubi-Raziel Go to original post![]()
Upping the resolution scaling, changing FOV, changiing sharpening doesn't seem to change anything. It's related to AA with my game at least.

Wihtout AA

Hi! I know that and if you read again and look at the images you'll see that AA ON is smooth 60fps (and up if VerticalSync off) and AA OFF is WEIRDLY much slower and more GPU consuming. This is weird!Originally Posted by Ubi-Viral Go to original post![]()
You can see how my system runs the benchmark with AA ON and VS on or off here: https://youtu.be/IkMu0PrOloQ
Also you can see that VerticalSync ON also requires less resources.
My system stock clock for everything
Graphics: Gigabyte GeForce® GTX 1070 G1 Gaming 8G
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600x
RAM: 2x8GB DDR 2666Mhz CL13, Kingston HyperX FURY
HDD: Intel m.2 1TB
Apologies I did miss that from the images. Thank you for pointing it outOriginally Posted by UmmiQ Go to original post
Welly our system is well within the requirements. This is a rather tricky one, is there any additional software for your GPU that could be causing this to occur?
No. I just did a refresh install to my Windows for some other purposes and tried out Breakpoint first!Originally Posted by Ubi-Viral Go to original post![]()
