How can you claim you're passionate about balance when all you do every season is find new ways to nerf the hero. I just wish you would take the time to improve the hero, rather than just blindly nerfing him without thought. There is no excuse why it's taking so long to fix the hero.
The Shinobi was nerfed into the ground when Patch 2.11 rolled out in August 2019 and the hero has been getting additional nerfs ever since then over the past 7 months. This is the worst hero in the game, the viability of the Shinobi is complete trash.Originally Posted by TheUberDome Go to original post
This hero has been garbage for an unacceptably long time, the fact that the developers have done absolutely nothing to fix the unplayable state of this hero makes it obvious that they don't really care about their own game. My friends and I have all stopped playing For Honor because of their neglect and seeing that the devs still have't lifted a finger to fix the problems with the Shinobi after over half-a-year, It only proves that I made the right decision to stop playing.
He is rewarding to play, give him a proper backflip with real dodge property. He is very high risk, no need to have his HP under the standard 120. Give him ranged lights that if parried flip you to the ground as heavies currently do and change his parried ranged heavies to guarantee a grab from the opponent (the animation can pull the chain to a grab) guaranteeing the oponent a grab punish. To avoid light spammers, increase his light combo to three hits, but only guaranteeing after the second hit in the same direction. Shinobi may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I do like the ninja range style approach of play like a masterclass boxer.
