Does AI performance improve when maps are launched in game?

If your map is a little more detailed/more AI the enemies tend be kinda stupid, or at least more stupid than usual. It takes longer for them to spot you even when you're right in front of them and they easily lose track of the player. Does this change when you're playing a published map? Can't say I've noticed.

Low fps causes Ai to react slow to the player. If you are over budget and went too far with it that will happen. The good news is fps improves slightly when published than in the editor.

I first noticed this in FC4 - I believe Ubisoft has the AI dumbed down or limited whenever there are many active at once to avoid player frustration. Same goes for your health. The last 25% of health has a higher value than it should.
