The lack of loot is a serious problem

I played for about three hours or so tonight. Ran through the invaded missions and stronghold on challenging and then followed up with capital a second time looking for a Tardigrade. We even had a rogue spawn in the capital and killed all five with nothing to show for it. At the end of the night I kept nothing, not a single piece of gear was useful. I even got BTSU gloves but they had a worse roll than the ones I already have so they got dismantled.

Yes, there was a lot of loot drops, but none of it was useful. I should be having to make decisions about which pieces to keep and trying to maximize what I have but that doesn't happen. I can play all week and I might get one item that is interesting.

It's at the point I don't really care to keep logging in. Why bother? Even if I take the time, effort, and frustration to do heroic missions the end result is the same. A lot of gear that I just don't care about.

There needs to be a serious upgrade to gear quality so that doing the harder content, doing the weekly content, will make you grin at the end of the play session because you have so much stuff to sort through and examine. We should be having to spend 20 minutes comparing items and worrying about running out of space in the vault. I barely have anything in my inventory now and the bulk of it are old exotics that I haven't got replacements for because I keep getting the same three exotic drops over and over.

Loot has to change if they expect people to stay interested.

I'm just waiting to see what happens in TU9. I'm on my last legs here. The game has become stale at least to me and how I like to play. I have 20 exotic components with an additional 12 exotics in the stash so I might just re-roll a couple of my exotics just to see if god rolls are actually available thru crafting before moving on.

There is a simple answer to that question. Build diversity. At least on paper. On paper everything looks great I am sure but putting it into real world or game play is something completely different. There isn’t really much build diversity when it comes to actually playing the game and actually killing enemies.

Kind of makes you wonder if the devs actually play the game or not or if they just look at things on paper and that’s why any time they fix something or “fix” more things break. 2 steps forward and 5 steps back or 2 steps back and another 5 steps back.

The solution seems to be target farming Heroic.

Or wait until something you care about is a target farm for a Legendary stronghold.

Maybe they could just make 5.11 a good set, because I get 2-3 pieces of that on every run, regardless of targeted loot.

Finally bit the bullet and made a PvP 5.11 build, you know just to let RNJesus know, hey I hear you buddy loud and clear, you want me to use that 5.11 gear, you got it. Did come out with 96% Haz Pro and 99% burn resistance. So here I come DZ since apparently that’s what I need to walk around with if you’re in there, looking at you imperial dynasty...

That's the point of a grind, no?

At some point, you are going to hit some sort of diminishing return where you either:

A: need to go up in world / mission difficulty

B: will be looking for 1% - 3% incremental upgrades.

    or

C: will be looking for exactly what you need with the exact rolls and the exact percentages

It's obvious that everyone wants exactly what they want. You just can't expect that to happen so effortlessly given the number of variables held against you.

It should, when I run w/ one other player, who ALWAYS get's a pair...albiet only ONE of said pair were actually worth a crap....

And vice versa....He needed Lullaby, Pestilence, and a couple other things.....I got those w/o even trying.....

So your saying you have to work for everything....

There in lies the rub again.....RPG out the window.....Loot is crap....

You shouldn't have to grind/farm/play like a mad man to get gear....

That is what drives people out of games.....

You should know that....you are no young pup...

Gaming has actually gone to piss....

Still waiting on a real RPG Looter Shooter......

    ROFL!
