🛈 Announcement
Greetings! The Division forums are now archived and accessible in read-only mode, please go to the new platform to discuss the game

I guess like all devs of games

These devs are clueless on the real world. For instance, why are cars still running, car lights still on, police sirens still flashing, and other devices still running six months later? No battery or gas tank lasts like that. In one day all batteries would be dead.

Here is another of the devs know nothing about america but trash it consistently moments. A hurricane hit manhatten in eary spring? Are they clueless on hurricanes? For one hurricane season is august until november. They also very rarely track as far north as new york. When one does its a once a lifetime event.
I could go on with all the blatant misrepresentations and outright falsehoods but I will open up the discussion floor to anything else that is in the game that is well just wrong.

Oh and if a dev could explain how they could be so out of touch with the world to let this stuff into the game.

Oh one more thing, why are there spring celebraton billboard etc in wony when this started at xmas?

Well, if we're talking realism, they should implement a one shot one kill damage model. That will fix the bullet sponge problem

Also, friendly fire. And agents should only be able to carry whatever gear they're wearing, along with a primary and secondary weapon. And only provide skills that actually exist in prototype form.

There is creative freedom but that is pure creative laziness.

It would be like the first Halo online and pistols ruling everything..
    I'd be fine with that..
We'd cut that Chicken dance down real fast.. lol

Suspension of disbelief only works if its somewhat plausable or believeable. I know millenials are clueless on what a hammer does, but calling one a wrench still won't make it one no matter how much you believe it so.

Yeah, and my backpack shouldn’t be able to hold 100 different guns, masks, chestpieces, and....other backpacks.

It’s a story set in a video game.

And the Atlantic Hurricane season actually begins on June 1st. NY has been impacted before, like Hurricane Sandy in 2012 and the New England Hurricane of 1938 which wreaked havoc on Long Island. So yes, while those storms tend to happen later in the year, it’s certainly not outside the realm of possibility.
