However, I'm running a 4-piece HardWired build with seekers and a turret as my main build, and for me it usually works correctly. Occasionally it doesn't, so there's probably still some bug involved, but it's not a huge problem. I _think_ the problem occurs more often when my connection is slow and the game is already stuttering, but that might just be my imagination. I'm on PC, in case that matters.

Try to make sure that the Feedback Loop icon is fully orange before destroying the turret, and perhaps give it an additional second in between.
Are you sure? The orange icon takes 20 seconds not 10. I thought that was the feedback loop damage buff icon. What is the grey icon supposed to be for? If you wait for the icon to go orange that is a 20 second cool down.

VR_tjmitchem is correct if you wait for the orange icon it is about 15 seconds. Something is not right with the set.

I'm 100% sure, as I've spent literally 100s of hours with a build that was based on the functionality of these icons. I also checked it explicitly after the update that fixed the previously bugged behavior of the backpack, and found no problem.

There are two icons. One icon shows the duration of the damage/repair bonus, it looks like the Feedback Loop icon plus two small upwards-pointing arrows in one corner. This icon starts fully orange and then slowly loses that color over 20 seconds. The other icon (without the two arrows) is the Feedback Loop icon. It starts transparent after triggering Feedback Loop, slowly fills up with a grey bar over 10 seconds, and then goes fully orange, which indicates that the Feedback Loop effect is now available. It will then stay fully orange until you use it.

This is on PC, the display might be different on console.

It's definitely 10 seconds for me, I just tested it again with a seeker/turret setup. Are you both on PC as well?

    Works for me.

Yes, the feedback loop works for me just great.

I like to abuse it (right word?) By using a Chem Launcher and every 10 seconds use it to heal whether I need it or not and my seekers are back and ready to miss or do little damage but it's fun.

I play on PC. I have 4 piece and backpack and chest.

I'm not seeing what you are seeing at all. I see the feedback loop with arrows which lasts 20 seconds. The gray icon takes 10 seconds. The full orange icon that shows that feedback loop is ready doesn't appear until the icon with arrows has timed down. This means it is taking 20 seconds for feedback loop to refresh skills. When was the last time you used hardwired?

The orange feedback loop ready icon should be appearing next to the damage buff icon halfway through the damage buff cooldown [so both should be visible at the same time], but for some reason it isn't for me.

Other people seem to be having similar issues: https://forums.ubisoft.com/showthrea...ight=hardwired

This is how it should work. However, this is not what is happening for me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MelzX8ttdUA

    Same for me.

Definitely different for me. As soon as the 10-second cooldown is up, A fully orange Feedback Loop icon appears. It can be a bit confusing because it switches place with the icon for the damage/repair buff, but it's definitely there for me after 10 seconds.

Five minutes ago. I've also used this build continuously for several weeks. I followed how it worked fine before WoNY released, then the backpack talent became unreliable with TU8, then that got fixed in TU8.5. I checked and verified every step by timing the Feedback Loop cooldown with both in-game and out-of-game means. I took extra care because that talent is very important for my build. I can say with absolute 100% certainty that the talent has worked correctly for me ever since the fix went live. I'm usually _very_ reluctant with making statements like these, because I always see a chance for human error, but in this case there simply is none.

Of course, I cannot exclude the possibility that the talent, while working fine for me, is still bugged for others. In that case it might be helpful to find criteria that separate affected from unaffected users, which is why I asked about the platform.

I crafted a new HW chest and put it on. The build worked perfectly with 10 second cooldowns I had both icons appearing at once. I logged out and back in and the bug is back. Something is definitely messed up. It's a pity HW was one of my favourite builds in TU6.

Okay, something odd is going on. I made a new loadout with HW. Now it is working correctly.

Thanks for persisting and trying to find out under which conditions it does or doesn't work, btw. While I'm personally not affected by this bug, it definitely needs be looked at, and you are clearly not someone who just misunderstood the mechanic. If you haven't already, please consider submitting a bug report.
