You guys are joking, 4-6 heavies in a row on one level on tanker mission, unkillable and kill players in one or two hits of 100 foot flames, enough is enough, this is beyond ridiculous, as is the drop rates and quality or lack thereof in even heroic events of all types..
It's taking all my patience not to drop as many swear words I know in describing this inept and crap system now!
This may not be the best method but you can actually climb back up to the door that connected to that area.
The heavies will climb up to follow you, so use that opportunity to shoot their tanks (one on the back and one on the side) like crazy from the side
It'll probably make things a little easier to deal with them.
I usually play solo on challenge, so I don't know about heroic and legendary but I've managed to get rid of the Cleaner heavy horde that way for now.
Sounds like intended gameplay to me. You're probably not running that ultimatelally minmaxed build they want you to run on Heroic and Legendary! :POriginally Posted by deejfly Go to original post
I find their weak points being mixed with Division 2's armour plate system to be quite annoying. I never seem to be hitting weak points, even though to me, it looks like I am. I don't get it and find it frustrating.
They were so fun to fight in Div 1. Would prefer something more similar to how the weak points worked there.
The 3D model box for the weakpoint on his right leg is badly modeled into the unit itself. If you're not facing him almost directly in his 8-9-10 o'clock your rounds won't connect. Same applies to his weakpoint on the left leg. I understand that I need to drop off the protective kevlar around the napalm tube in order to hit it, but the top/bottom of that tube is not covered with kevlar so some rounds do connect & show the weakpoint hit crosshairs.Originally Posted by andyrob102 Go to original post
The 1 on his back works just fine, though.
Yeah, their weakpoint armor is quite annoying.Originally Posted by andyrob102 Go to original post
It takes a while to break the armor? off the weakpoint and only then can you really make it explode.
For some reason, the one on their back doesn't seem to be armored.
Hell no, the Black Tusk minigun heavies are much easier to deal with because you just need to destroy their ammo belt to stop them and destroy that little red thing on their back (what is that thing anyway?) to weaken them.Originally Posted by As1r0nimo Go to original post
And their weakpoints aren't armorclad like the Cleaner heavy.
I'd say outcast with hammer. Simply run and shoot until it dies.Originally Posted by Tet2 Go to original post
