Is there any chance of adding more assault rifles especially The L85A2 that’s my favourite gun.
Also can you make it so there is more vibration coming through the controller when you fire a weapon in breakpoint. In wildlands there was more vibration response coming through and I feel this adds realism.
And also the hand guns if you shoot twice in quick succession as double tap the second bullet is way off target due to recoil from the first shot. It’s only a pistol and it’s not realistic if the recoil is like a shotgun. Back in wildlands there was not much recoil on the pistol you could easily shoot an enemy twice doing double tap which adds so much realism to a game.
Can you also fix the stealth takedown it takes far too long to kill someone with a knife as I’m sure it doesn’t take a knife to the throat and several stabs in the chest to kill someone If you were highly trained. I’m saying this because you could come across two enemies and you takedown one and by the time you finish killing him with several stabs the other guy is shooting you and it takes the fun away from stealth doesn’t it ?
As I mentioned before I would really like more detail in the game graphics on PS4 to be more polished than it is at the moment. You see trails of smoke In breakpoint but they stay still in the sky the don’t move at all that’s just one detail and in wildlands and other games you see smoke from camp fires etc clearly moving in to the sky to add realism. Also in breakpoint when you see a car or a helicopter in the distance maybe 500 metres or even less sometimes they disappear without a trace. I was playing wildlands the other day and I seen a train well over 1500 metres away moving through the hills I couldn’t believe it. If breakpoint is a new game then why is it that wildlands looks better visually and plays better all round. Surely if you develop a great game then you have to make sure that you improve on it for the next game and not go backwards.
This is NOT unrealistic. Having fired everything from ..22s to .45 LCs, I can tell you that accurate rapid-fire with a stock (unmodified) pistol is quite difficult, and Breakpoint reflects that difficulty.Originally Posted by jamesoscar26 Go to original post
That is how special forces actually do it. They are trained to stab repeatedly, even after slitting the throat. The idea is to cause as much trauma as possible, so the target is unable to sound the alarm before expiring. And in real life, you wouldn't be stabbing someone with his buddy standing two feet away from him. Stabbings are NOT quiet affairs, they are simply quieter than shooting. Can you also fix the stealth takedown it takes far too long to kill someone with a knife as I’m sure it doesn’t take a knife to the throat and several stabs in the chest to kill someone If you were highly trained. Breakpoint is a much larger game than Wildlands, and it has a lot more to render in one frame than its predecessor. This results in a lower render distance. As I mentioned before I would really like more detail in the game graphics on PS4 to be more polished than it is at the moment. Ok you try double tapping an enemy see where your second shot goes then let me know where it goes ? Realistically special forces would double tap and hit an enemy target on both shots they wouldn’t miss the second shot.
I would think a special forces soldier could easily takedown an enemy with relative ease rather than stabbing someone repeatedly like a thug that doesn’t know what there doing. I’ll ask my friend who used to be in the British army if the combat in the game is realistic or not thanks
The next reply is just an excuse !
Wow. You really don't know that much about the real world, do you? You CAN double tap a target with a handgun, but you don't just spam the trigger to do so. You HAVE to let the gun finish recoiling first. It isn't actual rapid fire, it just seems faster as a result of training. If you watch footage of special forces conducting pistol drills, they are deliberate in their aim, and do not just gank the trigger until the target drops. Also, there is nothing thugish about the way you stab an enemy in the game. First of all, killing someome with a knife is NOT easy. The vital organs are effectively covered in natural armor (the ribcage), which has evolved to be quite resistant to puncture and compression damage. Thus, stabs to the heart and lungs, which are required to kill an opponent quickly, must be performed forcefully, as well as swiftly and repeatedly, to ensure a quiet takedown. Slitting the throat is not as easy ss ot sounds, either, as the trachea is very stiff, and surrounded by thick muscles. The carotid artery is also a fairly difficult target to hit consistently, as its location and depth varies slightly from person to person, and that variation can mean the difference between a rapid bleed-out and an alert base - and stabs to the neck, while effective, must also be done quickly and with great force. Cutting into the human neck and torso is not like slicing through a steak. And forget neck-breaking. It is NOT as easy as the movies and video games make it out to be. This may come as a shock, but the neck and spinal cord are highly resistant to breaking, snapping, or severing.Originally Posted by jamesoscar26 Go to original post
And no, this reply is NOT an excuse, but rather a demonstration of just how wrong you actually are. Put down the controller and actually go to a shooting range, read up on special forces training, and peruse an anatomy book. Actually go out and LEARN about the real world before comparing it to a video game.
I have read up on special forces training and survival. I have several books and I also have experience in Russian special forces martial arts called Systema which involves self defence takedowns against knifes guns and other objects with relative ease . I was taught this a close friend who has his own dojo and he was taught this art by Mikhail Ryabko
And for your information I’m not on my controller! I am looking after my three kids and homeschooling during covid 19 so keep your opinions about me to yourself in future without actually knowing anything about me OK !
Self-defense takedowns are not what they're doing in the game. Also, these are American spec-ops, not Russian American training is different. Again, stabbing into the human body is not easy or quiet. And I don't care what your real life is like. If you're basing your presumptions of the real world on a video game, then you are spending too much time behind a controller and not enough behind a book.
I don't believe there is anything like "relative ease" when it comes to self defence against knife or gun if both opponents have military background, but I have no real life experience - just guessing.Originally Posted by jamesoscar26 Go to original post
