Over the course of the past few weeks, I have become more aware of the many throwers in ranked. I have reported multiple but it seems Ubi doesn't prioritize this issue. This is so frustrating because I care about the MMR I earn and I do not enjoy losing a game because of a thrower. I think that ALL chat in ranked should be disabled because one of the main reasons I've lost is throwers giving callouts of where my teammates and I are. I would just like to see what the R6 community would agree/disagree with this.
Not sure how they'd address that. I've wondered how many people are doing this or something like it. Using the chat to reveal where their 'team-mates' are hiding, so the enemy team can eliminate them easily. In-team communication is critical for honest players of course, and it doesn't sound exactly fair to remove that. Once again, it seems rules only stop honest people.
With Void Edge, we changed it so All Chat is disabled by default due to the amount of toxicity in the game. Players have to go out of their way to turn it back on, which I don't think many are doing. I personally haven't turned All Chat back on and have been enjoying the game more. So technically the option already exists, but players have the option to turn it on for themselves.
Don't forget to report those players for griefing as well for calling out teammate locations to the enemy team.
