I've encountered this in multiple locations; the most easily reproducible being in one of the missions for the new Deep State content. See spoiler for info.
Spoiler: Show
I've encountered multiple invisible walls in my gameplay where the sensor launcher "grenade" hits an invisible wall; this is supremely frustrating, given the limited availability (especially when playing in immersive mode, since enemies don't stay marked).
Never encountered this bug before the new content.
No problem; Actually have an example of this in a recent video on my channel. Got a timestamped link here: https://youtu.be/PkMG2_w1KY0?t=108
Thank you very much, that video is very usefulOriginally Posted by invertedpanda Go to original post
I have forwarded this thread and your video to the Ghost Recon Breakpoint team! We'll see what we find!

Our team quickly returned to me, asking for a bit more information.
Would it be possible to provide images of your map, showing the exact point of each location?
We have not experienced this ourself in testing, so this will help us reproduce it correctly.
Ok, I went in and tried to reproduce the one referenced in my video, but it didn't work. The one in the spoiler I was initially able to reproduce, and have screenshots for you, but after attempting again I had zero issues. Weirdest thing. Only thing I did different was launch my drone to attempt to mark the area and get the distance to target.
Here's the images (shows map location, aim point and result): https://imgur.com/a/YnjW80I
Hello again, thank you for taking the time to test this for us.Originally Posted by invertedpanda Go to original post
From your notes this does seem to be an intermittent issue, but one certainly worth investigating.
I will forward these images to the team and hopefully they will be able to reproduce it themselves.
Also just by chance this happens due to damaged game files, I recommend verifying them: https://support.ubi.com/en-GB/faqs/000025650/
If this continues to happen, images like the ones provided above would be most beneficial.
Thank you for your help once again, and enjoy your game time![]()
Hello again!
Great news. We were able to reproduce the issue ourselves, so you're not the only player affected by this.
So far we've only been able to reproduce it at the location shown in your images, but we'll keep trying new locations. As mentioned earlier, we're be happy to receive more images if you ever experience this again.
This information has been forwarded to our dev team and we hope to see this resolve in the future.
All the best!
Not to hijack this thread, but I can confirm this happens frequently in multiple places. I've personally encountered it at:
Maunga Nui Port from the direction of the bivuac (whilst laying on the platform)
Fen Bog Testing Zone from the hill near the abandoned site to the south, facing the testing zone, just west of Precipice Falls.
Skell Estate from the direction of the hill just outside to the north east, overlooking the pool.
Outpost Black Tiger, from the direction of the hill just opposite the entrance.
It doesn't seem to always be 100% reproducible with reliability, which makes it all the more frustrating, but hopefully this helps narrow down the cause.
