Why no suppressor for the 416 Assault?
Been playing immersive for a couple of weeks & just purchased my first gun blueprint from Maria's shop & went for the 416 Assault. I dropped the gun I'd been using & swapped to the 416 only to find later I couldn't fit a suppressor to it?
Really, you can't fit a suppressor to a 416... am I missing something or is this another error from Ubi?
Thanks for your replies.
I guess the clue's in the name 'Assault'.
It's not right though, in real life you wouldn't carry two guns, one for for 'assaulting' & one for 'stealthing', you'd have one & add a suppressor when needed.
I'd have thought Ubisoft would have got this point right seeing that SF guys were meant to have helped in making this game?
Guys who have never fired a gun or looked thru a high powered optic, decided what attachment would be allowed on any given weapon based on their expertise on topic
Suppressors do not reduce ballistics of bullets in fact free bore of suppressor actually increases FPS by 10-25fps
Only subsonic ammo is surpressed, full power ammo noise signature is reduced however terminal ballistics are not
Why bother, ubi has not shown any interest in any input from this forum
I was just going to add that you could add a suppressor to the 416 (as that is what I am currently using) but then I saw that it was the variant and it is a good thing I didn't spend the money getting it thinking it would be a bit better than the regular one.
So NONE of the variants can use a suppressor? seriously, NONE AT ALL?
Man, every time I think I have seen how low the devs can go with this game, something else happens and they let me down because they have not only reach the floor with the main game, they are digging up further down with each of these new things they thought off. WOW.
So far I also know that the normal M4A1 can utilize a suppressor, thank God.
Yeah none of the assault variants can use a suppressor, the rest can however.Originally Posted by FCacGRdvWD Go to original post
This is the new and better Gunsmith from Ubisoft!Originally Posted by l3ooga Go to original post
Yeah, welcome to the brutal gunsmith and stupid weapon variants in this game. Despite having advertised this game as having a more flexible gunsmith and more realistic ballistics than Wildlands, it’s ridiculously limited.
- No suppressors or single shot options on assault variants
- No trigger select fire options on any gun (who would run with a three round burst and full auto with no single shot?!)
- Limited attachment choices on all weapons (arbitrary scope and grip choices)
- Grips that have tradeoffs that make no sense (how a grip can make recoil worse in any way is a mystery)
- misleading stats (Bipods appear to increase the range stat but have no effect and damage cannot be taken at face value)
And there are some pistols like the FN Five Seven that someone at Ubisoft must have thought fired a cartridge more powerful than a 5.56 or 7.62 NATO round, because it does the same or more damage than rifles using those rounds. Even my P320 does more damage than my 556 Shorty. It’s nonsense.
It is hard to believe that they didn't have the "Give the customer the finger" in mind with all of this, doesn't it? and then we have some of the Delta guys telling us how much they love the franchise and how much they have sweat doing this game. It does boggles the mind because it is very difficult to continue to believe them with things like this in the game..
