    Game keeps crashing at the "Press any key" screen.

    Hello folks,

    Unfortunately my AC III Remastered decided from one gaming session to the next to not work properly anymore. Everytime I start it up and get to the "Press any key" screen and press one, the game gets stuck for a second and then crashes. That means I can't even get into the main menu anymore. This is what I tried to fix it:

    Restart PC
    Reinstall the Game (also on the windows drive)
    Verfify Game Files
    Turned off various graphics option in the Ini
    Updated Drivers
    Viruscheck
    Repaired corrupted Windows Files
    Run uPlay and the Game as an Admin
    Compatibility Mode

    and a lot of other stuff, nothing will work so far. Did you ever encounter a similar crash scenario and know how to fix it? I'm starting to lose my mind with this since its the only game that won't work all of a sudden and I was in the middle of a Playthrough that I was streaming.

    So I even reinstalled Windows 10 now, still the same issue happening. What is up with that?

    Thank you for contacting us, we're sorry to hear that this has been occurring.

    One thing it would be worth, if you haven't already, is trying from a different User profile to see if this may be potentially due to a rights issue on the account or issue with the registry. You can set-up another Windows profile via the steps in the guide here

    I've got the same issue. One day game was working properly,i've finished main plot and the next day it is crashing every time i'm trying to get into a main menu,restart,reinstall or verify didn't help at all.

    I created new windows profile and it didn't change anything,the problem is still occurring which makes me really disappointed

    Sorry to see this is happening. Are you getting any particular error message/code when this happens?
    Can you go through the steps in this link, and let us know if you are still having the same crash problem.

    Same problem here with AC syndicate. After "press any key", it starts loading for 2 seconds and it crashes.

    I tried ALL the points in the link cited and nothing changed. Exactly the same problem.

    I also removed the game from the Nvidia optimisation but everything is the same.

    Same thing here. Opened a ticket and did a lot of troubleshooting procedures so ubi supps could tell me to complain to Microsoft. As if operating system were the real problem.
