    Pls stop rewarding kill-stealing!

I'm new to the forums so if this is an old topic, I'm sure you folks or an admin will fill me in. I have become very frustrated with the proliferation of kill-stealing players (particularly of late with the pandemic which has resulted in many new players). To make matters worse, the game seems to reward these players as they often have the highest score at the end of a match (I play Breach for the most part). I see the game as a team/co-op effort but many seem to see it as a competition between themselves and their teammates.

If possible, it would be awesome if the devs could tweak things to discourage this behavior.

    ....end of rant. Thanks!

As long as your kill is swift and succesful, it really doesn't matter. Ignore the scoreboard, renown gain is very poorly made.

I gotta say lately I've been getting pretty triggered with the "rockstars" who HAVE TO interrupt anything and everything in a match because for some stupid reason it is obvious the scoreboard is their only objective.

Really they should think about getting rid of the scoreboard in MM, and leave it as a exclusive feature of ranked and tournament only. Unlike an FPS, scoreboard chasing has really annoying consequences do to the mechanics of FH.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. It's far too rare to be in a group where your teammates just watch in the background, letting you know you have back up if you need it and don't interfere. 1 on 1 fights...where you can hone your skills. I am not the most skillful player by any means so I try to be a good, flexible strategist.

I like the idea of getting rid of the scoreboard. I don't pay it much attention either. I do look occasionally to have a gauge of my personal performance. My goal is always to contribute to the team in any way I'm able. btw...my PSN tag is RasTemujin. Have fun out there childrens.

It's not a question of even honing your skills, it's actually a matter of that idiot "rockstar" who is doing nothing but feeding revenge and actually hitting YOU and interrupting your GB/attack attempts instead of accomplishing anything useful. All because "rockstar" is so desperate to tag anything and everything in a match to be on the scoreboard.

The scoreboard clearly causes this asinine behavior.

The scoreboard should show two areas of information: Renown level feats reached/unlocked, and player latency. The Renown level will simply read 1, 2, 3 or 4 to show the feats unlocked of opponents/teammates if and when during a match. The Latency is self explanatory. So in essence, it's not even a "scoreboard" anymore in regular MM, it's just an info page displaying actual relevant data in real time. .

There you have it, no more incentive for idiots to run around whacking at anything and everything interrupting teammates. You reach renown 4, and that's your highest trophy from the info page, now go learn how the game actually works and WIN THE MATCH.

It is hard to tell what you can do to stop these people from doing what they are doing. They are probably angry most of the time to die/lose, and they desperately want to satisfy their ego by getting as many kills as possible.

A "damage dealt", "succesful counter/parry/dodge", "revenge feed" and "friendly fire" data would also be nice, directly affecting the scoreboard (the best, second best and third best in the area getting a bonus to max renown át the end). If the scoreboard would really show all the important stuff, and players would all get the option to choose mvp of their team, it might encourage less idiotic gameplay (currently, there is nothing else on the scoreboard, but objectives which everyone ignore, plus k/d).
