You can pass animations from a different game (same engine) to the new game.
So they could use the animation from the cut scenes on the newer models.
To improve the visual like you said they'd have to use the new models anyway.
They can also bring the voice acting from that game into this game and it would be available to you during the Wildlands campaign (Kind of like you'd enter the Fallen ghost, Ghost mode and Narco road in the main menu from wildlands).
I used to create animations for arma 3 mods
Sometimes I'd take the rig from a different mod that was kind enough to lend their animations to us, to use on our vehicles.
Just have to make it fit with the new model.
I think I get what you mean. Anyway. I just started a new play through in Wildlands and straight away it feels amazing. How these games could have come from the same studio is staggering. (And not in a good way).

    Yeah it does.
I was playing wildlands few days ago but I got to admit, the trigger for pistols on breakpoint is much better.
Sometimes I press the trigger on wildlands and the gun doesn't fire.
It's like the game sometimes fail to recognize input from the controler.
And I do miss the animations from breakpoint, some clothings
But I really prefer wildlands over breakpoint.

I've said that if they could update the charactersmith, in GRW, to have the same textures and details, the Breakpoint has, I would just play Wildlands, and drop Breakpoint until Episode 3 releases.

What I’d really like to see this year is a massive DLC for Wildlands, (One I’d happily pay for), where they add all of features that they got right in BP, to Wildlands.
    Improved visuals
    Weapon shouldered in hostile territory.
    Improved movement when crouched.
    Knife takedowns
    Rocket and grenade launchers
    Ability to unequip weapons
    Prone Camo
    Knife choices
    Laser on top rail
    Ability to remove backpack
    Stubble and beard choices
    Rocket gunner enemy
    Bodies that don’t disappear
    Body or buddy carry
Injury system (as of immersive mode)
Iconic outfits split into component parts

Then a couple of other tweaks to Wildlands
Allow us to customise our AI teams loadout and ‘soul swap’ with them and drop Fallen Ghosts into Wildlands main story, like an episode 2, rather than a separate mode.

Would be extremely nice to have this. I think it would be considered Wildlands Remastered instead of an update sadly.

Yea that's my point the sling animations were apparently cut content as well as gear values. All they really have to do is set it up like tier mode. As well as the dropping all of the battle rewards that are already set for release, but the unlocking mechanism I think were broken. Yea, but either way it doesn't hurt having a little optimism.

If they did that and tweaked the trigger for pistols on wildlands, I'd be definitely sticking with it forever.

Even without that Wildlands is outstanding. It’s so full of life. Auroa should’ve been way more populated.

If they release Wildlands remastered I’ll buy it without a moments hesitation!

I learned from my mistake buying a full price Breakpoint. If they released Wildlands remastered, i will wait first for the Feedback if it's worth it, remember that this is the same team that destroy the franchise.
