I play in Advanced, often injuries, partial regen and no HUD at all except for the light minimap (compass). For me this is almost the perfect way to enjoy the game. You get to feel the injury system more when 1 comes - quite often actually (usually the 2nd bullet) and you do not die as quick as on Extreme but within about 4-5 bullets. I would also want the enemy status removed from the minimap/compass so I can turn that off, AI difficulty and detection split so can have Advanced difficulty yet Extreme detection and tg syringes changed to be more "realistic" than is.

Back to thread point, without going back to a bivouac and when on no regen or partial, there is nothing to partially boost your health other than, what I consider, a cheap gimmick that is the syringe. I consider this cheap as I feel it does too much considering the considerable short amount of time to use 1 and also the little amount of nature required to craft. I also find these everywhere so always have a full amount of them in stock.

If syringes are not nerfed similar to my suggestion above (above is my preference), then they should be more scarce around the island to be looted and when crafting you should need more resources to do so to make them more scarcely available. It should also have some sort of after effect when use to give that feeling of something magically healing you, maybe like a bit of a daze for 3-4 seconds perhaps where you can't focus, aim or move that well while it does it's thing as if you're in a bit of a drug daze.
I have an Idea posted as a "[Suggestion]: A more polished injury system." and basically my idea is not to Nerf syringes, but remove them and replace them with a more logical or realistic piece of medical equipment that is already on the PVP side of the game. The adrenaline shot, basically the idea of the adrenaline shot is not regenerate your health, but give you temporary buffs just like the Assault Classes special ability. Which in my example is lets say 40% DMG and Injury Resistance and 60% less debuts from injuries and maybe the ability to hold and aim your primary while being critically injured. Basically think about it like the Punisher styled boost to combat so you can make it to safety and bandage your self up.

0:30 shows the usage of adrenaline or Epipen.

    Hello!

Thank you everyone for sharing your thoughts on the injury system, including the presets you're playing with. I'll make sure to forward the feedback you're sharing on the system and the syringes Feel free to keep sharing your thoughts on this here, though.
