    Downloading 43GB again?

Ive installed this game and played it for months. Then i stopped playing after finishing Coney Island. Took a 2 weeks break.
Now i fire up the game again today, its downloading everyone from scratch.
Whats goin on here? Is this part of the new update?

I think it's Ubisoft change of file system that happened a short while ago. Their new files are smaller than the original files. If I remember correctly the whole game is around 4gb smaller now.

The download due to this changeover is a pain in the backside, especially as 4GB to me is a small pimple on the huge bum of life i.e I am not short of drive space. I feel sorry for those on slow or expensive connections forced to go through this update

43GB update. So that makes this game, what 150GB big now, and if we don't intend to buy the stupid DLC we can't even play the game? I think it's uninstall time.

    Updates are not always addative.
    They also replace existing files.
