Thank you for at least fixing part of the problem and making an immersive mode. But the game has a long way to go , years more of development . I really want to like the game because it’s ghost recon but I can’t sadly. For a start the graphics short and medium distance are PlayStation 2 era. Ok long distance when you look far away like looking up at the mountains are great can’t fault that at all. But in short distances there is no detail in the rocks the grass roads etc the list goes on. Water in the game looks horrendous. The way the wind blows in the game in the same direction non stop ! The game reminds me of a custom map in farcry arcade where everything is the most basic in the way the game looks. It’s so underdeveloped and I feel fans of this game deserve an apology for the mess we have been given here. Wildlands looked better played better felt better etc.
When you speak to people in the game your lips and there lips don’t match what your saying.
Also in certain shooting situations nomad is a bit jumpy and jerky which spoils things. Sometimes the sound disappears from the gun shooting.
Why is it that so many missions you always end up in the same areas back and forth ? Or are the areas just all exactly the same everywhere ? Outposts look almost the same Buildings are the same.
In bivouacs and story cutscenes your hat and glasses disappear? WHY ? I put them on for reason I didn’t ask for them to be taken off.
I know there are new options for nomads distance to the camera can be changed which I put to far and there is no difference whatsoever. I’m still to close to the camera so that’s something you didn’t fix properly.
The game world feels dead no civilians or traffic the miles of roads in the game apart from an occasional enemy driving then disappearing !
All in all this game has been rushed and botched since it started development it’s very poor standard from a company that made great games like wildlands and farcry in previous years. Whoever made the decision too release the game before it was complete needs to be sacked .
Thank you for your reply UbiBlush
I have the feeling it’s going to take years to fix breakpoint. Instead I think the ghost recon team should focus on wildlands instead. This game still has massive potential. Wildlands is the best game I’ve ever played and I know a lot of people share that with me.
Think about a completely new storyline for wildlands almost like a new game , new enemies, new bases, take all the best stuff from breakpoint put it in wildlands like the cover system and prone camo etc stick it in there. This would rectify all the problems that breakpoint has done. Too do this would be awesome if it could be done.
Thanks for your time
James
As much as I loved Wildlands, I have to disagree with this. In fact, it broke my heart reading this suggestion.Originally Posted by jamesoscar26 Go to original post
For them to do this would be like Activision releasing it's yearly call of duty repeat and then saying "Oops. The game wasn't perfect, so instead of fixing it, we are going to just go back and rework our CoD installment from 2 years ago." It just doesn't make any sense.
I don't want Breakpoint to be another Wildlands. If I want to play Wildlands, I'll play Wildlands. Breakpoint could use some fixes, but let's just let Breakpoint be Breakpoint.
Personally, I think they need to take a look at PvP issues, like taking out the need for separate gear between PvP and immersive mode pve. should be able to use your immersive mode weapons in pvp (you can do this at first... but once you start collecting geared, PvP items, you're locked to using those specific items.) I've been stuck using classes I didn't want to use in PvP because I earned an assault rifle in pvp and didn't have any SMGs, and I couldn't use my immersive mode smg once I got that assault rifle from pvp. Also, when people leave a pvp match, there's no matchmaking in between rounds... so if some idiot leaves in the first 10 seconds of the first round because he ran out in the open and got sniped, then you're stuck playing the entire match down a man.... just like ranked matches on Wildlands. This is not okay, considering nearly 80% of the matches involve someone leaving. I've even been stuck having to 1v4 because all of my teammates rushed, died, and left.

They need to scrap everything and start from scratch. Stop with these giant dead *** worlds. Smaller maps with lots of detail of what we want. But Ubisoft can't seem to understand this. Added AI temmates back in the game. Let us add commands and truly lead our sqaud. "immerse mode" is a poor attempt at fixing the broken system that had originally gone with. This game is a lost caused because the core of it is broken garbage. They need to focus on Wildlands 3 and get it right this time.
Yeah, no....Originally Posted by Spitfirex007 Go to original post
I'm happy they did immersion mode too it at least makes me play the game now. I was completely turned off from this game when I first got it and found out it was more like the division than an old school ghost recon game. so I'm really happy at least that they gave us options to take off all the gear level stuff and all the things that make it feel like it's more of the division or an RPG than ghost recon.
I agree as well too they have a long way to go but at least they're in the right direction I would really like to see them get rid of the class systems as well not permanently or anything like that just because for people who do want that option at least it's there. But for those of us who just want the old school ghost recon experience to have an option to turn it on and off would be nice the same way they gave us the option to turn gear levels on and off. I pretty much just want no RPG or division aspects in my ghost recon experience. No gear level, no class system, no perks or abilities.
Just simply your pure skill versus a tough challenging AI. Where your tactics and your skill level was what would determine the outcome of the situation. That's old school ghost recon. I honestly wasn't that big of a fan of wildlands because it started going into, well the direction breakpoint is going. And in my opinion it's just too far away from what ghost recon really is.
