The defenders need acogs in R6 because its getting out of hand how the attackers always get acogs and keep killing us defenders like for example from long range to mid range the attackers always win there games and its almost like they have the upper hand on us almost every game. And in my guess I think its time for the defenders to get acogs and if u ever wonder why def always have a hard time winning games and being on the grid well its because def dont have many people with acogs and its just stupid to see defenders not having fun killing attackers and its crazy how iQ has acog on all three of her guns she should at least have one gun with acog and 2 acog removals on her other to guns such as G8A1 and 552 commando both acogs should be given to the defenders. Faze is another op that should get acog removal and that gun is 6p41 and it should be given to one of the defenders last thing I have to say is that defenders need help and we need acogs and more gun attachments
That attack is commonly agreed on to be the weaker side on 90% of the maps . Giving defense even more tools and buffing their guns is not what the game needs right now especially if it comes in form of the most controversial attachment in the game. It would also go against ubis policy of not giving acogs to 2 or 3 speeds on automatic weapons. While yes rn most attackers have the upper hand in long range fighting it should be the case since defence controls the range where engagements take place which is the only reason shotguns are at least somewhat viable on defense compared to attack.Originally Posted by army8947 Go to original post
Overall your post seemed so weird because you apparently havent been following ongoing debates and statistics about defenders having the edge and that their ability to acogs should be cut down even further. It was simply so out of place since defenders dont need a buff in the first place and giving them acogs would not be the way to go about it.
Sure it would be fun seeing and playing with acog on for example the mpx but going against a team of acog users who can also quickly remanouver from one pixel peek to another seems like hell on earth for an attacker. Just think about the impact jger and bandit (just 2 ops) had when their acogs were still a thing.
That said I wouldnt be opposed to attack loosing some acogs at all. It only enforces this "I will sit on this one window infront of the obj holding one angle and not going inside for 2:50" playstyle i really despise to see on teammates. If they do this for more ops they should only take it from the most picked guns of an operator like they did with ash. However an operator shouldnt loose it if he only has a shotgun as an alternative (hibana, thermite. etc.).

Never said that I want more acogs removed tho. I said there is a debate about it but i was actually opposed to maestro loosing his acog. That said I dont think defends needs acogs but ops that have them would need to be buffed in some other way if you took it from them (because this diddnt happen on maestro he is now underpicked btw.)
