Ive finally had the pleasure, if you could call it that, of NEARLY finishing the RAID experience.

A frustrating evening Davii...Entered Raids at 6.30 pm, after the second attempt at the final boss, 53% in to re-spawning, I end up back at Erewhon, then the game crashes!
If I'm to take any positives from it, I found a new patch and a tattoo. I was hoping tonight to get the last item of my gear up to level 300, very disappointing...

Also thank you everyone for sharing your experiences and feedback on the raid, I'll make sure to pass this on to the team
    Hello there, Blush!

Thanks for your input. I am relieved to say I did a few more runs of the Raid over the past 2 days. My experience was a lot different these times around but it wasnt until just now (literally 10 minutes ago) that we finally beat Cerberus!

I was fortunate enough to have a group that spawned in helicopters somehow. What previously took me 4 or more hours of doing the bosses, travelling to locations, and searching for intel, now only took me a swift 30-40 minutes! I will say that having to have an initial learning experience may have made the Raid a lot more stressful.

This goes without saying, it still took us a few tries to get everything sorted with cerberus. But, I got some coaching from one of the players on how to kite cerberus and kill the drones.

I will say, having replayed a few more times, there are still some positives I'd like to cite:

+ Map Design for Golem Island has been some of the best the game has to offer. The scenery and particle effects of the volcano are very realistic. I especially liked the side of the mountain that had a lot of ash, requiring use of thermal vision.

+ AI are far more challenging on Golem Island. I also like that the enemies do not have a red bloch on the map which requires you to mark them. I am hopeful that the team can look into making wolves more difficult like this. It gives a sense of realism not being able to easily face off against 20 or more enemies even with a 4 man team.

+ The Loot for bosses is nice and well-worth the hard work.

+ The mines only being visible in thermal was a nice touch. We should also be able to disarm them stealthily.

    Some main negative points:

    - Matchmaking for the Raid is what killed the experience the most for me. I think that the game should automatically matchmake for replacement players when someone leaves. Or perhaps give better rewards for the same group sticking together to encourage people not to leave.

    - Latency and frame rate drops happened somewhat frequently in high activity areas. Accounting for the fast moving drones in the mix made it a little worse I think? There does need to be a little stability work.

    - DMR exploit is pretty rampant and I have observed it a few times first hand. Players with this exploit chunk the health of bosses that it isnt even a challenge anymore.

    - Radius of some boss attacks are too large to dodge such as the cerberus missile barrage (unless this was intended).

Other than that, I'm finally happy to have completed the Raid so that I can coach my group of friends that I coop with regularly whenever we get around to it.
