The OP asked a question, and Ranger_Logan posted the link that has the official Ubisoft position on the safety of MM.

I really don't think we need another thread offering a gazillion opinions on the matter, with a boat load of "I saw a post from a guy that said he never glitched and he was banned ..... there you go -- THEY ARE LIARS!"

Because the internet is full of factual information and never has any deceit, right?

If you don't feel comfortable matchmaking, then don't. Your best bet - IMO - is that if you choose to matchmake, pay attention to the damage output by those in your group and if you see something that seems too good to be true, then leave the group. Especially if the group chat or voip is discussing glitches, cheats, etc.

Or, you can put your full trust and faith into the link above.

    Troll post by ubi-fanboi

Ubi/mssv were caught lying on multiple occasions. We can only suppose that the posters are liars. Ubi has a vested and clear interest in avoiding the admission of false positives and performing proper QA.

Ubi official posts are less reliable than random posters.

Simply put, until Ubisoft/Massive explains exactly what criteria they used to determine who to suspend and roll back, it's not even safe to play the game. Users that haven't even logged in for several months were suspended. Known cheaters with proof of their cheating on YouTube were not suspended.

The only "safe" assumption you can make is that they will screw over the players, innocent or guilty, again and again as they have done continually from the start.
