It's not a dream I came up with this morning. It was posted TODAY.

I'm not saying to 100% blindly believe the Devs (HELL NO!), but it's their own words. I also do believe there were false positives.

You didn’t read it clear what i’ve said. Matchmaking is clear definitely, it matches players by the system for what ever team up purpose, that means you cannot choose who you are going to play with. If marchmaking put a player team up with a cheater, the player will not be punished.

But if a player is able to always team up with cheater, he is using the team invite/join team function, which is not matchmaking. So he is either knew and agree his teammate to cheat, or he is intented to tag along for better rolls. Even worst assumption, that player maybe not cheating himself, but he could be paying someone who’ve hacked account for selling runs or he is possibly the hacker himself.

So i say this is also qualified a ban.

Thats because the rollback was a punishment for cheating not just a correction of your cheating stats and gear. They should have permabanned.

because your account is still your responsiblity at the end of the day. otherwise anyone could evade or circumvent punishment by said means.

Agreed, besides, if an account is indeed being hacked, check the login history by dev can provide evidences easily.

An account got hacked, the owner will lose the ability to even login because hacker may change their password. So a roll back to pre-hacked will be a perfect solution. I don’t think there are any harm to the actual owner if proved fall victim to hacker.
