Did you match making with the same player regularly?

I think only you are friend with said player to be playing together REGULARLY.

I see you didn't read my post entirely or actually scrolled through some threads here. Ubi-what-his-face-is actually confirmed on one thread asking for clarity on this matter.

It's not a dream I came up with this morning. It was posted TODAY.

I'm not saying to 100% blindly believe the Devs (HELL NO!), but it's their own words. I also do believe there were false positives.

1) If players already long gone, how do they find out got banned? And what harm is the roll back do to them anyway, especially just roll back to where they left the game.

2) if long gone players indeed got caught cheating, the accounts are probably got hacked for high tier mission speed run, and sell the run for cash.

3) Players without cheating but running regularly with someone cheating, they are also benefiting from the glitch, which is not so innocent as they’ve claimed.

So the problem is if a person was banned while not even have been logged in during that time has now been sanctioned and labeled a cheat.

If indeed the account was hacked like you say I doubt Ubisoft would do anything since they already said if you are a false positive they would fix it when clearly that hasn’t been the case if you look at any support tickets where they tell you right away there is nothing they can do .

Since when is it our job to determine if someone is cheating? Last time I checked video games were about blowing off steam. Having fun, a hobby. You should not have to worry about matchmaking with someone and running missions. If that is the case they need to disable matchmaking for all activities.

As someone who has over 2000 hours played in Division 1 and almost 3000 hours in Div 2, I can honestly say at the current state of the game it is not worth it unless you are getting D2 for less than $10.

Back in the day, when we only had disks and cartridges for games - if a game was buggy or not fun, we would just stop playing it and play something else.

They’re not going to fix what YOU want them to fix, right now. Good possibility they don’t even see or read 95% of online posts.

I don't plan on coming back to The Division 2. I was banned and i wasn't using the DPS glitch.

So maybe you did something else that merits it.

How do the dev know the account was hacked if the owner do not report? If nobody requested for the said account restore, it is legit for dev to ban that account for cheating. I believe if account is proved being hacked, the dev sure will gladly restore the account and roll back to what it was before hack.

When people invoked GDPR so that they could have their own personnal data, even accepting to sign a NDA not to reveal anything about it, they were told Massive wouldn't release such data, but players were free to file a complaint.

GDPR is only for Name \ Address \ Phone number and other" personal information".
Does not cover gameplay.

The only related information to Gameplay in the remotest sense covered by GDPR is IP address.

it shows you how clueless cheaters are to think that it had some relevance in any way or form.

How is part of the game that's super niche important to the health of the game? You brought up the DZ and I pointed out its not a very active populated part of the game so ppl wouldn't notice it... I don't cheat or glitch so meh everyone who got rolled back deserved it. Still say they should have permabanned them. If the glitch still works and ppl still use it they aren't very bright with the data Massive logs they will be banned.
