To work out the faction to give them another hero I imagine, they are still behind by 2.Originally Posted by The_Wanderer_I Go to original post
Boring and bland is an opinion, I think the Wu Lin are very good looking, they have some balance issues sure but again in my opinion and others they were/ are a welcome addition.
You can also look at it from a balance point. Black Prior had a very successful release, so from that point of view the knights can take a back seat.
Jorm was uh.. interesting to say the least. And from what I’ve seen on reddit, discord, and Amino, a new Viking probably isn’t the best idea especially since the narrative for the Vikings is unique to how to the devs see them. ( shirtless and crazy )
The frustration is understandable though. The prior was released in Jan 2019....that is a long time ago. The Wu just got their new hero.
Yes the Wu need another hero. But to be fair they could have released a knight now. And the new Wu hero later this year...that still would have given them 2 hero releases in less than one year. Not bad.
Correct me if I am wrong but the Wu are probably the least played faction. The game has its roots in knights/vikings/samurai. The knights were due and i think the majority of people will be let down which is not a good thing at this stage in the games cycle.
Hopefully ill eat my words.
Well, since there are only 5 Wu Lin, 7 of everything else, and they are not a choosable faction with faction specific order, that is not a surprise.Originally Posted by chukblok Go to original post
I find most Vikings and Samurai just as boring as the Wu Lin (I dislike Zerk, hl, Raider and shaman from an apparaence/voice viewpoint more than Zhanhu and Nuxia). It is completely subjective. If they already introduced the Faction, they should finish it.
Its always strange to me when someone feels the need to "inform" others what an opinion is. I mean what point are you trying to make by pointing out the OP was offering his opinion? I am sure he was well aware of that and are you implying that peoples' opinions hold no weight? Don't game developers and, well any business, value the opinions of their customers?Originally Posted by Sneakly20 Go to original post
Yeah it was merely one opinion but all the guy can do is make a post about it and see how many others share that opinion and hope it has some impact going forward. The whole idea being discussed is whether people like or enjoy the Wu Lin faction and if its likely the new Wu Lin hero will be well received using past Wu Lin hero's as a gauge. So the whole matter being discussed is by its nature subjective and opinions are the correct way to do that.
I rarely post on here but for some reason I just had to put this out there because I see that type of response on forums all the time and I don't get the purpose...

I guess from your view point, I can see where you’re coming from, but from my view point it’s another “why Wu Lin when you could do X”
I put my two cents in because of how often I see this exact post. That’s my reasoning.
Most importantly I said his was an opinion and offered my own, I never said his opinion meant less, in my eyes our view points mean the exact same thing. He wants either a knight or Viking, and I want a Wu Lin etc.
The new hero feat4 should be a flask with a bat soup on itOriginally Posted by GroovyBlade Go to original post
