Everything the OP said is correct. Weapons should be balanced around the M1A for PVE not nerfed.
Nerf it for pvp.
There are very few other viable options. AR are kinda being addressed. Shotguns/smg/Sniper(other than 2) are all garbage.

You should venture in. It’s not nearly as bad as many here make it out to be. It can be but not all the time.

Maybe in the near future but as of right now i am not interested.

I use 1. It's only because it works well for my build. I have a tendency to use the best available.

I was using Rifles before it was cool! lol. I used a Sig 516 before WONY even though it wasn't best in class and i'm still using it now. I use the Bakers Dozen from time to time but it's not for me. I like my Sig. Just wish they would buff it.
