Yeah I have a couple of skill builds that I would love to work on with Surge, but I just can’t justify setting aside my Baker’s Dozen. Which probably means it’ll get nerfed.Originally Posted by DLaren Go to original post
As to the things listed by the OP for XB1, I’d agree with most of them for PS4 too. Interesting to see others have similar experiences regarding hit registration.
Is this aimed at me? if so i can answer.Originally Posted by SuspiciousPixel Go to original post
Launch of TD2 i used a MK17 for quite some time using ranger talent as i did not get along with breadbasket and boomerang, i then switched over too turret + seekers.
TU8 came along and i stopped using the turret + seekers mainly because turret on console has been bugged for quite sometime.....so for the first time in TD1 and TD2 i switched to using the M1A.
So in short i have never used the M1A, only started using it when TU8 came out.
I do think some ain't looking at what i am getting at with this post, it's not about how good the M1A is it's about hit registration and how poor the other rifles are compared to the M1A.
Less of the nerfing, more balancing of the other rifles and fixing the hit registration.
I could easily say "Nerf the sniper turret as it hit like a truck" but i won't, it's some of the other skills that need buffing to be in line with the sniper turret.
Focus talent (it will be reworked).Originally Posted by THEUGLYFROMDZ Go to original post
Sniper turret has a lot of cons, like placement, limited vision, can't crit etc.Originally Posted by Riflemania Go to original post
While M1a classic have only one - it exists.
My son uses sniper turret + seekers and always comes out at top in all our runs in heroic + legendary so it must be doing something right.Originally Posted by As1r0nimo Go to original post
Now that i think of it i'm pretty sure you are the M1A hater so your imput is going to be biased......if i'm wrong than forgive me.
Since everybody talks about hit registration.
Question: Striker still buggy? This got adressed in the patch notes and should be fixed. Is it a bad hit registration or whats going on?
Edit 1: shooting range proofes it. About a third of the buff is up after 55 round mag (Not using the chest perk, which increased the max stack size to 100 for simplicity)
Wow Massive really? Never saw this before but a shooter which doesnt register hits, or just a buggy set.. There you go and try balance stuff but the basics aint working? That should be priority number one!
Edit 2: 100 rounds lmg at 633 rpm fills the buff entirely.
Question, how does striker work?
A: buff up to 50% dmg
B: buff up to 50 stacks at 0.5 dmg each (25% total)
This is a big problem and I don't understand why aren't people talking about this more.Originally Posted by Riflemania Go to original post
Big part of the game and variety is threw down the toilet because best tanking method is bursting enemies from afar before they even get a chance to even shoot at us.
Because there is a thing called Power Creep.Originally Posted by Riflemania Go to original post
Everytime you keep buffing everything you have to buff enemies to compensate.
To prevent power creep the best thing to do is nerf the best and decrease enemies' power as well.
As i said, i face rolled Heroic at March 6th with ~god Rolled Baker's dozen even without any sort of a build.Originally Posted by Riflemania Go to original post
On PC it's super easy to headshot someone with that. And extremely boring.
