It seems verbal diarrhea is even more contagious than the novel coronavirus. Repeating the same excuses over and over again won't make them true. Unfortunately, trying to explain the importance of ethics to people who have no moral compass is an exercise in futility.

I must have matched with someone using the glitch and it got my account banned. I am more upset about the rollback than I am the ban. I can get over the fact that I got a 7 day suspension for nothing but, I am going to loose roughly 250 hours of my life and 34.99 USD worth of in game credits. Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, I have not been able to work so I have been drowning my sorrows and bordem into gaming up until the ban wave, all I was playing was Division 2. from 3/17 (the date being rolled back to) I have played so much and gotten a lot of good gear. Well good gear on paper because no matter what your Armor Stat and how much DPS you have, the enemies are still doing more steroids than Lance Armstrong and Arnold Schwarzenegger put together. It does appear from videos I saw that the DPS bug puts you more on par with the damage numbers the NPC's have but they are not being banned! I think that this move is going to Massively hurt Massive and I think they handled this the wrong way. I do think that anyone that used this damage glitch in PVP should be ashamed of themselves but at the same time, they should have gotten a warning. I am just so frustrated with the whole thing and when I read all the forum posts about it there is so much douchy try hard wannabe Chads in the comments like "that is what you cheaters get" or "Your just mad because you got caught cheating" or other stupid *** comments. Most of them probably participated in the bug as well and weren't banned but whatever. I get that some people used this in the DZ and that is kinda ****ty but to bash people that used this in PVE is just crazy and self righteous in my opinion. I think that over the years, there has been so many different glitches in the game that people have used and there has never been a massive ban like this so no one believed that there was going to be bans for this time. I think the biggest problem is that the TOS state that you will be banned for using 3rd party software like aimbot or ESP or other scummy software that small D*&%ed basement dwellers use when they can't hack it in a game but this was part of the game. If it wasnt intended, then why did they not remove it during testing? Oh right, they didn't test the game, they just released it knowing it was broken in many ways to get paid. I am just so frustrated and I figured I would vent my frustrations here since my support ticket I sent in to Ubisoft isnt getting any attention other than some copy pasta bull crap that means "Sorry to inform you, but you are F&*$ed, if you would like more information, please refer to this link". I love this community and I hope they make it right and reverse the punishments for those of us that are innocent. (and maybe even the ones that only used this bug in PVE).
    Holy WALL OF TEXT Batman!

Taking it to the wire with these post. I guess we got a few more. Who am I kidding. There’s going to be another wave after they log back in and see their gear. That’s when it’s really going to set in.

Naah, it is what it is
Just wished there were more bans since Massive themselfs said that their detection system was "100%" accurate but it clearly wasn't well time shall tell if there's another wave though.. Highly doubt it ^^

EDIT: Oooh ooh! And a fix on the dps-glitch xD hahh!

"there has been so many different glitches in the game that people have used and there has never been a massive ban like this so no one believed that there was going to be bans for this time"

this sentence is probably the real reason bans and rollbacks were issued in this instance. In all those other instances, The game system was lenient, hoping that the community would police itself. This turned out to be a poor strategy, as more and more people decided to abuse the system (they absolutely knew what they did was wrong and against tos) without fear of repercussion. In a system , if a law or policy does not create the desired effect, it must be amended. The aim of the system is to produce the desired effect, and in any system this is normally achieved by creating laws or policy in an increasing level of severity, until the desired behavior is achieved.

In a nutshell, the community forced the system into a corner. They came out with teeth bared. What they are doing is essentially forcing the community to be honest and do the right thing when presented with a choice to the contrary.

Imagine having so many bugs, glitches, and other issues wrong with your game that you even have that problem to begin with. Imagine being such a sad person that you champion a ban wave in a majority pve game. Imagine being those people in the discord gloating about how many people they reported over something that does not affect them in the slightest.

Look, if someone is running around 1 hiting you with an smg/lmg or whatever in pvp, sure, report them and that person should have some kind of action taken against them (and even then I wouldn't go as nuclear as they have). But in PvE? Honestly, why do you actually care? I sure as hell don't. So your 20m heroic turns into a 10m heroic. move on to the next mission and go about your day, and they'll go about theirs.

Im starting to think some of these people who are upset with the banned, are paid shills or something. Design to make it seem like Massive did something and us dirty glitchers are crying. Making the massive fans happy.

Cause the groups I hang with, and we all did the glitch did not get banned. After I openly admit to it on the forums. And if many of us got a banned and roll back. We would not be crying on forums. We would just shrug laugh and move on. After all, we got sold a game that did not work right. So why do we care if we exploited?

It really makes no sense how this ban stuff happen.

Look, If it is a false positive, seemly just email Ubisoft support and get it sorted.

But, If you are one of those that glitch and got caught. Well, than you deserve what is coming. Yes, the system behind this ban is not perfect and same goes with our actual justice system. Sometime crimes just go unnoticed and many times when it does get notice even more the law enforcement has the rights to do what is necessary to apprehend the suspect.

Look at Destiny 2 now, they have a system where they don’t really punish the cheaters or the exploiters and look where they got themselves into? A even worse state of the game with endless exploiters and cheaters literally ruining every crucible comps out there.

There is no two ways about this man, you can not make both sides happy. Someone has to go and I am glad Massive did what is necessary.

Someone commented about the Ban Wave also being for players who have had reports made about them. Perhaps you were on that list. Funny how you come back now when the troubles started.
