Absolutely Disgusted with Massive and Ubisoft

I am just in total disbelief with how they are handling this whole ban wave! I was banned and I did not use the glitch. I do a LOT of matchmaking because with the latest update, the content has gotten a lot harder because the enemies are using 50 cal bullets and we are using cotton balls. I must have matched with someone using the glitch and it got my account banned. I am more upset about the rollback than I am the ban. I can get over the fact that I got a 7 day suspension for nothing but, I am going to loose roughly 250 hours of my life and 34.99 USD worth of in game credits. Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, I have not been able to work so I have been drowning my sorrows and bordem into gaming up until the ban wave, all I was playing was Division 2. from 3/17 (the date being rolled back to) I have played so much and gotten a lot of good gear. Well good gear on paper because no matter what your Armor Stat and how much DPS you have, the enemies are still doing more steroids than Lance Armstrong and Arnold Schwarzenegger put together. It does appear from videos I saw that the DPS bug puts you more on par with the damage numbers the NPC's have but they are not being banned! I think that this move is going to Massively hurt Massive and I think they handled this the wrong way. I do think that anyone that used this damage glitch in PVP should be ashamed of themselves but at the same time, they should have gotten a warning. I am just so frustrated with the whole thing and when I read all the forum posts about it there is so much douchy try hard wannabe Chads in the comments like "that is what you cheaters get" or "Your just mad because you got caught cheating" or other stupid *** comments. Most of them probably participated in the bug as well and weren't banned but whatever. I get that some people used this in the DZ and that is kinda ****ty but to bash people that used this in PVE is just crazy and self righteous in my opinion. I think that over the years, there has been so many different glitches in the game that people have used and there has never been a massive ban like this so no one believed that there was going to be bans for this time. I think the biggest problem is that the TOS state that you will be banned for using 3rd party software like aimbot or ESP or other scummy software that small D*&%ed basement dwellers use when they can't hack it in a game but this was part of the game. If it wasnt intended, then why did they not remove it during testing? Oh right, they didn't test the game, they just released it knowing it was broken in many ways to get paid. I am just so frustrated and I figured I would vent my frustrations here since my support ticket I sent in to Ubisoft isnt getting any attention other than some copy pasta bull crap that means "Sorry to inform you, but you are F&*$ed, if you would like more information, please refer to this link". I love this community and I hope they make it right and reverse the punishments for those of us that are innocent. (and maybe even the ones that only used this bug in PVE).

For someone who didn't exploit, you seem to have an awful lot of excuses for why exploiting in PVE is okay?

It is ok, the rules are meant to protect players, the way they applied them here served no purpose, all it did was punish people for having fun in a video game. There is no ethical argument any one can really make that cheating is inherently wrong playing video games. Video games on their own have no standard worth protecting that makes punishments justified or even reasonable to begin with.

not everyone automatically opens a forum account with every game they buy, or live on social media, i only opened a account to find out what was going on when the ban hit. i doubt i was the only one.
