Well I mean EA exists but honestly....they aren't shoving their games behind an online only wall, you buy their games and you just own them, the end, so they are now better than Ubisoft. Ubisoft just wants to treat you like a dog, tethering you to their trash servers, releasing buggy incomplete games, treating people with complaints like garbage on the forums. They are't getting another penny from me, I'd rather eat the old spring dog turds that are now exposing themselves from the melting snow than deal with Ubisoft again.

Im currently playing Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order from EA and it's really really good! The sound is mind blowingly good by far the best ive experienced in a game (i went from Breakpoints sound to this, Wow), You could never see Ubi making a game as good as this in their current state.

Jedi Fallen Order is really good, it's one of the few good souls clones.

Got my son it the first day it came out and this is me finally getting round to playing it (Praise Lockdown) I went from the Breakpoint 6 hour trial to this. My jaw was on the floor for the first two hours. It is leagues better than anything Ubi put out in every department. GRAW was prob the last game from Ubi that made my jaw hit the floor on the first time firing it up! What happened to that Ubi

Fallen Order brought back that child like state of having time stop as I play through the game, like nothing mattered and life is great. Breakpoint made me want to slice someones head off, not because it made me feel like a soldier trapped behind enemy lines, but because I've never had such a miserable experience with a game and its developers, not even Sam Fisher could save this game, naw he just got stuck on walls and started teleporting because of "connection issues" with my single player game. Top that with hard bind key problems and yea, I'm out until Ubisoft pulls their head out their ***. "Oh but Corona" this ******** was happening before COVID so don't be playing the guilt trip cards. Uplay, more like Udon'tplay.

    Agreed

I actually agree with Paris being the worst studio ever. I also heard some rumors that there are loads of internal politics and ego issues and they hit heads almost at every aspect and not listening to military advisors.

I think this studio has zero personal pride. It is very disjointed and has a lot of teamwork exercises to do. I generally feel like they could not be asked to work properly on this and they would need to start from scratch to get things right. They nowhere near of quality of work compared to Ubisoft - Toronto/Montreal.

In some messed up way, I'm so happy that the Splinter Cell game was not made the way Ubisoft is going I agree with the CEO on not rushing it and coming back in the right way. Hopefully, all of the recent flops for the past year or so and a bunch of all the other **** in Breakpoint make them think twice before making another SC game. Also whoever decides in Ubisoft on what project goes to where - needs to be very careful who lands SC as at this point if Paris landed it - IT WOULD BE GOODNIGHT for us.

I would say all of Ubisoft's devs are first class as the worlds and potential in all their games are excellent. We should really be pointing our fingers at the greedy execs hogtying the devs in to loot, RNG, Episodic seasons, roadmaps, poor narratives all to make us play online and for long periods of time but at the same time sucking all that was good out of gaming for carrot tempting addictive BS.

God, I hope Cyberpunk will bring back the fun and excitement that gaming used to be like with Ubisoft. Maybe that game's success will let these skilled Ubi devs have longer timelines and better narratives without being burdened by a$$hole execs nickel-and-diming us at every opportunity.

Guys, really sorry to break it to you. I know you want to baby the devs and put all the blame on their bosses. Unfortunately, it's not the bosses celebrating a failure by eating cake and posting on Twitter. It's not the bosses who can't update the game without breaking as mush or more than they fix. The bosses ******g suck, especially that lying piece of **** Yves, but the kids they hired are garbage ******g programmers who've been wrong every step of the way.

+1 on "no confidence", between CM communication and the Devs publishing trash.... its time to pack up, and goto Insurgency or Warzone(Fornite for adults)

Fallen Order just pure fun but what a pleasant surprise EA
Breakpoint play for a week thinking hmmm ok wildlands was better. and spend two weeks frustrated complaining on the forum. and continues to count
it is insulting for EA compare the two
