Rope would be nice in this game for sure. Funny video though.
The Sam Fisher we get is the grandpa version. Why else cant he climb rope and can see through walls? He clearly needs a wheel chair. To support my point, there is a Sam Fisher skin in his prime available for some $$$.

I don't disagree. Rope would be fantastic. Like a hand-thrown grappling hook equipment. Or hell even a grappling hook pistol or something. If we can have giant robots and drones that can blast the hell out of ships and choppers, it wouldn't be too far-fetched to have some kind of grappling system...
However, while I agree it would be a good idea, I feel like I could also live without it if they didn't want to implement something like that.
The addition of rope will be more game developing than any thing else they could do. Rope could grant freedom of approach from above or below. It could have you and teammates coordinate complex assaults and expand on the traversal aspect. The mountain that you dread going up because your bound to fall. Just use your traversal tool aka rope/rappel/ grapple hook to create an achor point and then lead the line to the operator(s). Creating new paths ,entries and exits to assault or stealth through. That would not only change the pacing but also become a core game mechanic. Thats jsut my opinion of coarse.
I agree with this.
Ubisoft introduced Echelon class, a Stealth action class style. Could be expended now.
You're supposed to play like climbing up/down building or climbing up/down mountain (not parachuting like an idiot)...
This would bring a real ++ to MilSim and gameplay tactics / approach when attacking base.

I had the idea that your drone could be equipped with a harpoon with rope so that you can fly the drone to as specific point, deploy it like how you deploy any other projectile from the drone and it anchors to the selected area, dropping the rope and enabling you to climb up or Rappel/Fast rope down.
