he's routing his connection to get a higher ping in order to be able to do this, a lot of people are resorting to this tactic now since their entire self worth is derived from winning at all costs in online games.

sometimes you may win the fight and execute them just for them to lag out of the execution and go back to 3/4 hp. I was going through my for honor vidoes from a while ago recently and came across some recordings of guys doing this.

Ok that's what I thought too. He was basically lag switching and it was apparent from the start of the game. All his attacks were basically unblockable. Even heavy attacks were coming faster than light attack speed. Very sad that people have to resort to this.

I defaultly report everyone with the slightest lag for cheating. Because it is cheating, if someone is like this, they should not play.

I thought the report function was just placebo.. I highly doubt they have a team that sits there and sorts through the reports.

yes of course! they are more concerned about protecting the identity of low life trash who resort to such methods to win, because they lack the skill to play normally and win.

they would much rather protect them than get the relevant department involved and making sure such exploits don't happen in the game.

I don't think it is shaming. The name is not written down, and we all have seen things like this. It can happen to everyone who has thrash internet, even unintenionally (though even in that case, they should be punished for it, not their opponents).

Those two are unfortunately steering this into "flame the dev team" territory so if it gets closed that would be why lol

That's exactly this, I reported a player several days ago and I had video proof, Ubisoft confirmed to me that it was taking care of this person. A few days later, the matchmaking make me play against this cheater again. So, I think report is a joke and I will stop wasting my time with this now. We can only HOPE that devs wake up one day and banish those who cheat on their connection because there are more and more who do this since a lot of seasons.
