Division 2 ban / rollback: how to (try to) get away with theft

I believe Ubisoft is a really nasty company.
Let's clarify things firstly: Massive is owned by Ubisoft, so it's technically the same company.

I read people's comments on other threads about the ban / rollback, and most of the ones saying people complaining because they got banned 7 days are whinners simply didn't get what's at stake here.
The 7 days ban is a thing. The rollback another one. For both, wether we agree on it or not is not the main point here.
To me the main point is what it shows to the consumers we are, and more importantly what this company is doing, which is stealing money from us.

While none of the players who are victims of this company's behavior did take any cent from them, Ubisoft is now stealing money from us, on purpose,

There are proofs, really obvious ones.

One proof is some people who never cheated got banned, like me for example. I bought the game 1 month ago by the way. And some who did didn't get banned.

One other solid proof is what Ubisoft stated about it on their own website: (translated from the french website, available here: https://support.ubisoft.com/fr-FR/Ne...-de-bug-FR-FR/)
"Note that in these circumstances, we don't have the ability to cancel the ban or the rollback"

So this company is stating from day 1 that they will not cancel it.

Well this is a breach of their own policy. And it shows they planned it, otherwise they would allow people to be able to contest it.
The company's policy about cheating states that it is possible to make an "appeal" against a ban.
You can read the policy here: https://support.ubisoft.com/en-US/Fa...ivision-2-TD2/

So by stating they "don't have the ability to cancel" their ban/rollback, this company is breaching their own policy, not giving any chance to appeal the ban.
This is a serious issue, and it looks like it was planned.

Why? Maybe because after milking the maximum money selling expansions, they want to save money by closing servers?
    Maybe some other reason?
Well I don't care why, what I do care about is I don't intend to let them steal from me.

And I strongly believe no one should.

And to the ones who will say "it's just a 7 days ban bla bla bla..." I will reply this:
Open your eyes, because after this will be permanent bans, they already said it.

"There will be other ban waves about other glitches bla bla"

What is happening here is a nasty company trying to make profit out of naïve people.
There is no "economy" in this game, and there is nothing the company lost from people using any glitch, besides their own reputation.

So there is no justification for ban/rollback/whatever they intend to pull next.

Now back at the glitch(es) and the "ability" of Massive to tell who did use it or not, intentionally or not.

This company is a real joke in terms of programming.
Their games, especially Division 1/2 are full of glitches, that they fail to fix.
Or they act like they fail to.
But once again, let's not get lost in our thoughts trying to figure out which one is true.
What matters is there are 2 possibilities here:

-either they really suck at programming, which would mean that their ability to detect/identify
cheaters is really questionnable, and would explain in big part why a lot of innocent players got banned

-or they don't, and this whole thing is just their way to milk the maximum money out of people, then permanent ban,
leaving them the choice to either buy the game again or not, which is a win/win situation... well only for Ubisoft of course

So here only the "Casino" wins, while the customer always lose.

Now about the ability to form a class action or not, or simply sue them, well Ubisoft lost in court against a Brazilian player on march 20th,
regarding a ban on Rainbow Six Siege.

There are ways to give them a good lesson here.

Wether by suing them or asking PlayStation support for a refund, which some players did and succeeded in getting after numerous tries.

This company is stealing from their customers.
    This is a fact.
    And theft is a felony.

So whatever they want to say about cheaters/whatevers, well I will reply this:
If you commit a felony to respond to something that is not, then you are worse.

To finish I want to say to those who like me are really disappointed and feel like they are getting stolen from this company:

You have options, and the more people will take action, the more this company will pay for it's mistakes.

Personnally I chose to contact an association whose specialty is getting big companies like this convicted, like they did in France with Steam,
and won with a few millions of dollars fine.

I will see it through and see if it is possible to inflict an exemplary punishment to Ubisoft, so that next time they think about stealing from people again, they think at least twice.

And you, what will you do?

Advice to everyone banned and or victim of exploiters in DZ

I cant say for sure that my numbers are totally accurate but theres a site (just put division 2 online players on google) saying that division2 sold 4.3million copies and stating that between February and march the avg number of people playing was 1.1million, that’s almost 25% of people who bought the game.

Theres one theory about why massive don’t banned everyone using exploits ( target practice, raid infinite keys active for months , grenade launcher in DZ etc), the reason is: massive can afford BAN a specific percentual of players due servers become low populated/empty so massive TOTALLY WAS PARTIAL AND SELECTIVE banning just SOMEONES who used dps glitch while I personally know people that I know who glitched and still playing.

In few words: massive don’t ban everyone due afraid of backlash and empty servers and ubisoft stakeholders took actions against division2 team due ban just make game more empty.
So if everyone who was banned and people who still being victim of exploiters in DZ this week don’t come back next week and took 1 or 2 weeks to comeback to game, this will generate reports of ANOTHER division2 exodus and stakeholders probably will took some measures and “conversations” with divition 2 team.

My claim here is legit: theres a lot of exploiters playing right now and people exploing game during MONTHS/youtubers still don’t get any punitive action while JUST SOME people get the ban and rollback.

Even rollback it’s a extreme measure if those people never was warmed first ( 1st offense : ban and flag on second strike will get a rollback) and worst than that: only one of unaccountable bugs was banned and had rollback punition.

Probably mods will close/delete this thread but just think about, Im not asking to people leave the game just delay coming back to this exodus backlash to massive.

If you were banned wrongfully, file a claim on support. That was stated before.

They have blocked any way to escalate past the standard response from Ubisoft Supports 'you banned, nothing can be done, no investigation can be done'.

Groovy. So too foil this evil company, all suspended players should come back and play. Farout, that would really stick it to the company. I support this idea 100%. Stick it to the man!

I may have missed the point. One more time around please.

Well yes I think you might have missed the point.

What I'm saying is people can either get refunded from PlayStation Support or support from the platform they bought the game on, or sue the company in order to get their account back without rollback, and compensation money.

Well it happened in Brazil, and they lost on March 20th.

    It doesn't look that hard.

If nobody take action, they will keep stealing from people.
