I wouldn't use a glitch again knowingly, I like the game, I wanna play.. but still afraid of coming back anyways, if as stated above, it was random. How the f*ck am I supposed to be safe in the future? xD
If you come back and start playing again after learning your lesson you will have no problem. People are clutching at straws because they thought they were being clever by abusing exploits etc with the intent of getting away with it, unfortunately for them they got caught which has shown that they are not as clever as they thought. They find this upsetting and then decide to whine endlessly about how unfair the rules are and that they are being persecuted etc.

All this nonsense will stop of course next week when they are playing again and of course they wont spend so much time on here crying because they have something else to occupy them.

I'm talking about the guilty the ones who have admitted to doing the glitch/Exploit, the one's caught red handed. heck there were some of those bragging in this very forum on how they are getting the loot and Massive cannot do anything about it and Massive/Ubi won't ban them. infact one actually said they Devs haven't got the balls to ban people.

I have 0 sympathy for those who bragged and dared the devs.

I do have sympathy for those who (Maybe innocent) as yet we only have the word of that person saying they are innocent, and the word of the devs saying they are guilty.

Which one do I believe (I can't make that call) because we only have the word of both parties. Without anything else, so it's a Catch 22.

Buit those who admitted it and dared the devs have only them selves to blame, it was their responsibility and theirs only to do it or not to do it. (it's that clear and simple)

I'm not here for the pitchforks and the burning.

I'm here to say people should take responsibility for their own actions and not keep blaming something/someone else .it was their actions that got them into this pickle in the first place.
but it 'is' about those who are (apparently) innocent because they have been swept up with some that are guilty and punished ..you cant just say this is not about the innocent and brush them aside like they dont exist then go on about whats considered right and wrong.

You read nothing about the "if the bans are random" right? which we can't know for sure or not, since no evidence is coming out.

Sorry a company banning ppl who cheated and exploited now has my attention, hope they keep it up. Failing would be doing nothing, your meant to report bugs and move on not exploit them.

any detection system that cant detect and ban 'everyone' who used the exploit is faulty

Look if you want to make it about those who might/maybe innocent then go ahead, i'm not talking about them iv'e made that clear, so carry on with someone else.

I'll talk about the guilty the ones who have ADMITTED it caught red handed (that's my verbal on that matter.) and that's what my 2 posts are about. I will not ,mix the two together as though they are both the same and both guilty r and put them in the same boat, I have not done that and I won't.

but you have to mix the two together because they 'are' together and both are being punished.

I'm sure they using metrics? Unless ppl are bots I'm sure those who got banned couldn't have amassed as much levels/points W/E in the timeframe or a normal human, it would be pretty simple to see depending on what data they use.

we rely on the devs to have some idea of what they are doing you cant just guess with a banning decision, their detection system should have been 100% accurate.

No you don't have to mix the 2 together. The are 2 distinct categories here:

    1. Exploiters who admit to it and accept their punishment.

    2. Exploiters claiming their innocence by way of various excuses, some of which it has to be said are completely out of this world and make for some entertaining reading.

So as Cadillac-jack says the 2 are very separate and I have to say I fully agree with him.
