Of course, I'm very eager to learn about the new project and see how it relates to Rocksmith. I have concerns, and I have assumptions, but until we learn more, I'll just focus on playing the songs that I currently own, and keeping my eye out for news on the new project.

Just in case you need some guinea pig Alpha or Beta testers...

I've been planning to reset my progress and start all the lessons from scratch anyway.

Edit: Oh, and I can keep secrets :P

Fingers crossed for a new game!

The fact that livestreams will continue gives me hope, but I would love some more information soon.

My wishful guess is that they are preparing for the new decade and the new consols.

But alas, its just a guess

The Original Rocksmith was released in October of 2011 for Playstation and Xbox and the PC version was released the following October. When RS2014 was announced, I remember RS1 DLC ending 5 or 6 months prior to 2014's October release date. Maybe Rocksmith 2021 will be released this October too. If this is the case, this will be the first year ever where summer can't end soon enought!

This is absolutely tragic given the times we are we are enduring right now. Being stuck at home, I looked forward to new dlc more than ever; what a bummer. R.I.P. Rocksmith

    "We have big news today."

Ending DLC production doesn't really feel like 'big news'. Kinda sad, actually. Maybe if there was something else being announced it wouldn't feel like the big announcement is no more DLC.
