- Regular Side Dodge (opponent has to look out for the side dodge light (undodgable) and side dodge heavy but instead it’s a simple and dodge and you hit them with...) >>> Palm Strike (Initiation from neutral can punish many things (ex: any bash Conqueror misses). Works good with back dodge as well.
- Kick Mixup. A vortex, like warden and Hitokiri. You don’t have to commit to an attack (Can no longer be nullified by back dodge and blocking top, as delayed sides can track. Heavies against wall continue the chain. Dragon dodges offer incredible positioning technique to achieve frequent kicks to the wall)
A dodge attack that feints into hyper armor works incredibly when spaced if you predict a mixup initiation.

Both his dodge attacks are reasonably reactable. Especially considering both are telegraphed via a dodge. The "proper" mix up with neutral palm strike comes from his zone or palm. Both are reactable on their own. But you usually end up eating one if looking for the other. Solid guard heros have less of a problem here since they can just block in the direction of zone and then dodge into it if they can't react to palm on its own.
Kick landing into side dodge light still only works if there is a wall or some surface close enough by. It's his forward dodge light that was buffed to begin with. Side dodge lights were not effected. And forward dodge light has to be max delayed which I doubt any average player is doing consistently. More so on top of that it's not a consistent punish. There are some heros where this only lands in some specific scenarios. There are some heros where it never connects without a wall near by. And there are some where it always works. It's hero dependent and thus not good.
Tiandi isn't close to being a top tier hero in any mode. He's slowly gotten better with the minor changes he's been given a few times. But he still lacks anything to benefit his team. And he still doesn't have a workable offense. At best tiandi is decent at turtling. Which there are better heros that you can pick that do just as good or better at that then him whilst also bringing something else to the table.
I was thinking the same thing. My guess is the Prince of Persia event showed many players how to use him right.Originally Posted by EvoX. Go to original post
