THANK YOU UBISOFT! (Thsnk you from a long time legally blind fan.))

I am a long time Ubisoft fan. My first memories of them are of the original Rainbow Six games and Splinter Cell. (Hell. I still play those today. )

I wanted to make a post because a lot of games seem to be moving away towards some accessibility options as of recently. (Most notably BATTLEFIELD as far as games that i play.)

I am a legally blind Graphic Designer and comic book illustrator. I play tactical/team shooters, rpgs, and immersive games are my favorite. I love video games because with them you can do things in gaming you may not be able to in real life.I've talked about this online again and again. Whe I love immersion and realism I do tend to want SOME features in my games to extend the quality of life and playtime for me. These can be something like HUD text enlargement, element size control, and position of the elements on screen. The text being enlarged is simething that seems most straightforward and helpful for me.

In most games I tend to turn off the HUD elememts in-game if I am not able to read them. Simply enlarging text fields or notifications could make things a lot quicker for those of us with visual disabilities. When it comes to THE DIVISION I can't read the notifications that pop up on the bottom of my screen when i pick up items. The elements on screen like the mini-map are important to all of us playing and while it's too small for me it csn still be useful.

I'm not a programmer (I couldn't stand writing code in class.) But being able to change the size of the map itself could help.

I mention all of this because it's easy lately to feel forgotten. I love how UBISOFT has allowed us to move elements on screen because I have moved my minimap behind my character's shoulder. This makes it so thst it can be in my central vision for reference instead of out of my peripheral where I can't use it when I need to.

This is a small thing to allow but it helps SO MUCH in ways you can probably understand. I love all of these tactical games and it makes it so much better when I can effectively help my fellow team members.

I hope to see you all online.

My name on PSN is MANGAJEDI_1
My name on steam is Mangajedi
and my name on xbox is MANGAJEDI.

Thanks for reading my little rambling.

Feel free to check out my chsnnel. It takes a lot to do it but slowly I am giving it a try.

I game, but i am also sketching on my twitch channel as well.

Is there any way to draw Ubi's attention to this post?

Hello MangaJedi (nice name tho! ),

Well: thank you very much for sharing your feedback with us in a very constructive way!

I fully understand the importance of being able to increase the size of the notifications and while I can't promise you anything regarding further improvements on the size of those, I'll make sure to pass your words to the developers.
