    Reality Of DPS Ban/Rollback

As we all know, Massive has dished out bans due to the dps exploit plaguing the game. If we all take the time to look at this situation for what it is, Are the punishments really worth the crime? Should Massive run the risk of losing any amount of players? Should we all be going back and forth with one another on whose right and whose wrong? No. The developers are going to do what they want at the end of the day, It has been set in stone that they will be rolling back accounts along with the ban. Personally, The decision to ban/rollback accounts was not a professional move and was not handled properly. We all know there are still people who did the glitch and are still playing the game. We also know that some have been wrongfully accused. But ultimately we ALL know that since the release of this game their have been numerous bugs/glitches that players have had to put up with and wait for the developers to fix, which have not been fixed. While these things may not be easy for the devs to fix, players have given the devs sooo much slack and still continue to support this game. I just feel like this is the time for the devs to give their players some slack. Im not saying that the devs should never take action on people exploiting the game. Im just saying that as a company who values player experience, this is not the right way to handle an issue in the community. While this post may get over looked, Just take the time to think about not only how you may feel about massive, Think about how massive feels about you as a player. If massive handles situations like this, Then its up to you as the player to determine if you want to stay or leave at this point. All this drama is not worth it in the end. We the players determine the life of this game, Im not saying that I am against Ubisoft, But I am going to step away from this game just off the fact that this is not right and I cant support a company that values punishment over their player base.

I ran into a text wall and now I'm blind...

It said something about blah blah blah shouldn't be punished for breaking rules.

    Just saying:

If there isn't a ban wave, it will be like Ubisoft/Massive was promoting cheating/glitching on their game.
    So what do you like:

    1) A game who's promoting cheating.

    2) A clean game, but more empty.

Don't answer, by your post you already choose the first one....

So massive must have promoted cheating when no one got banned for the armor exploit?

    I would say
    1) Suspend-yes... 7 day warranted-yes
    2) Roll back - No (then creating an in-game advatage while leaving other in-game advantages)
3)pick out what was gained while using exploit/"MECHANIC" yes
    4) Move on an focus on fixing game-yep yep yep
Etc...a)-Massive are already promoting cheating by allowing other methods!
    b)Their already promoting DISCRIMINATION
c)If roll back goes ahead they(INVALIDATE THEIR OWN TOS)
Its all a lose lose situation! Keep the ban....its warranted....roll back-no.....pick out what was gained-yes
But now question the method in which developers chose to go about this hole situation-yes

So basically, you want Massive to go to greater lengths and expend more effort for players that cheated to make them feel better, than they do for players that don't cheat?

I agree with the ban but the rollback no. I agree with you 100%
