I just want to get a proper understanding of the situation. I have gotten caught up in the ban, didn’t cheat or exploit I only match make to widen loot pools ask everyone what everyone is looking for etc.
What I want to get clarified is this, on STOG , it was said, if you feel you been wrongfully banned than contact support, on reddit it is also directed as a sticky to contact support if you were banned. My main point is how does massive know 100% with certainty know every single account banned wasn’t a false positive. That implies a perfect system, 0 error, which theoretically is impossible. I spent 3 days talking to customer support and was directed here. So 3 sources have told me to come to forums to talk directly or I guess indirectly to an admin.
I am not asking for proof, I am asking to clarify how it is without question a perfect ban. I know I didn’t cheat/exploit and I love playing with people, but this is insane, getting caught up in this removed for 7 days and losing 2 weeks works of items do to a possible false read?
Pretty sure you cheated since you got banned. The devs stated that only the very abusive cases got banned, while they could have banned even more people who either used the glitch themselves or grouped up with people using it for a long period of time. So you must have been a very naughty boy! Afaik, Widdz did not use the damage glitch, hence he wasn't banned, while someone he often plays with (also a content creator) was in fact banned for using it, and that guy had 1300+ SHD levels.
What do you learn from this? Don't exploit glitches in the future, and when someone in your group is obviously using a damage glitch, just leave the group. Also, if this ban wave would have been a paper tiger, people would just start using exploits and glitches for their own benefits in the future again (and some probably still will). But now players might be more deterred.
False, they didn't say the "Very abused cases", anyone using the damage glitch got a ban. So from the logic you just said, all courts of law, everyone who committed a crime is 120% guilty due to fact that we have a perfect system. Oh, wait we have courses overturned due to things being "incorrect" because nothing is perfect. If you take this at face value and say they're perfect you're delusional. They patched an exploit 4 times because they couldn't right, so you're saying there ban was perfect ? logic man just use it.Originally Posted by S3lll Go to original post
No, you are wrong. The devs could have suspended even more accounts, but they suspended only the severe cases. This is not my opinion, that's the official statement from the dev-stream. This has nothing to do with "court of law" rules, which don't apply here since it's the Code of Conduct exploiters infringe here. So you are wrong with that statement as well. It also has nothing to do with "taking something at face value and say they're perfect": If you have any problem with how your suspension might be handled, you can contact support an they're probably willing to help you out with your case. Of course there might be mistakes, since there might be mistakes in any decision anybody does, but that's what the support is for, not the forums. And again, you are saying that I stated something was "perfect", which I did not. Therefore you are a liar putting words into my mouth. It's your logical thinking, not mine, that is missing regarding the whole "ban" issue. The devs have the data, they can see when someone used a damage glitch, they can see the chat logs, they can see the time someone spends in a group, which content they do etc. But you seem to have a very hard time understanding these simple matters.
You guys keep on saying there are proofs, then why are they sending template emails instead of the violation itself. I know that would be alot of work, but I'm pretty sure that all those people that got banned for no reason is asking for it. Show how they detected the exploit on the account and if its legit then no more discussion. Cause I'm most certain that they base all of this on leadership board (which I do not think is fair), I know a guy that used the glitch but he did not do any missions and just cleared up his map, and he did not get banned.Originally Posted by S3lll Go to original post
I watch the stream, its "anyone" who used the dps glitch, why do you keep saying severe no one said this? Also Read what I wrote again, "From the logic you just said", never said you said perfect. STOG says to contact support, reddit says contact support, the forums say contact support, but support is telling everyone they can't help with this situation.Originally Posted by S3lll Go to original post
So no one is on the same page. You keep saying data, so we have youtubers saying they don't know why they aren't banned with the video of them explaining it, and people mass dumping the forums trying to clarify the bans, people who have 2 minutes raids not banned on the leaderboards but they have the data? but you seem to have a very hard time understanding these simple matters.
Use your head for a moment, if you took 5 attempts to fix one glitch, you think you ban wave was perfect? and if so even if you caught a few people in this just it justify it?
You need to read things multiple times before commenting please, Don't like wasting time with children.
@lllFallenOnelll Don't waste your time with these people mate..... There will always be a few tards who sit on their high horses and lick the devs arses all day long. They don't care about ACTUAL problems faced by the community. You don't see any of these punks every complain about the revive hive not working or the Actual hackers in the DZ do you? They just suffer from a inferiority complex which makes them want to shame and mock those less fortunate than them. Don't waste your time even responding to these clowns.
To prove my point, there is a thread on this very forum posted about 15 hours ago, of a DZ Hacker with Video evidence... and guess what? These self-righteous arse-lickers were nowhere to be found!! Oh and Neither were the Moderators...
Also I have proof of 4 players I know personally who glitched and didn't get banned. SO Massive can suck a big one if they actually think people are ******ed enough to believe the lies they spewed out on the SOTG.
This whole glitch thing has been a complete sh*t show.... People got banned and rolled back and there is nothing we can do about it. Those who had skills will always get their gear back because they can do harder content, the others, are will have to struggle their way back. Just let it go. it's over, there is no point arguing with these fools in the community, nor pleading to these devs who obviously don't give a fudge.
Once the ban lifts, just get back to the grind... or better yet, go play something else - That's what a lot of people seem to be doing.
Pretty sure S3lll is either a really really bored troll, or a employee paid to try and grief players into dropping the fact that massive ****** up. Look at his post history. It appears all he does all day long is post on threads asking for answer about the bans. He appears to believe himself the all knowing judge and jury. Hell, he spends so much time posting on the forums I doubt he even plays the game. Just a faithful dog trying to defend his bone.
The actual problems of the community? It's your problems, the problems of a vocal minority. There are much more pressing issues than this ban wave that will be over next week anyway. Take for example my threat about DirectX 12 crashing and solutions for players to elevate the problem (or other threats in that matter), in which we also asked the devs for replies and updates etc. (and they actually did). It has 190, mostly helpful, posts at this time. I think these are more important matters than your petty rants about probably deserved 7 days suspensions. I hate to break it to you, but you are the toxic part of the community who rather **** on the developers than trying to push your issue forward in a serious and effective manner. Nobody will take you seriously with your attitude that involves hating the devs and defaming users that are not the same opinion as you are - users that actually care to make improvements for the game they love to play.
