Firstly, I haven't bought WoNY.
I've had 12 or so proficiency caches and had 3 apparel keys as I expected, however I haven't had a single Event Key drop. @Ubisoft can you confirm you are not allowing lvl 30 (non WoNY) players to take part in the event? If so, really says a lot about how you view those players now![]()
I'm not talking about Seasons content, which I know is for WoNY. I'm referring to the Apparel Event, which has been available to every player since launch (with bonus keys at the start for season pass holders). This simply appears to now exclude players who have not bought the expansion and I'm interested if this is the intention
Anyone who owns WoNY - gets a Free Season 1 pass with premium track.Originally Posted by Laucian_Nailor Go to original post
After Season 1 there is a Free and Paid track ( $10 for 3 months )
So you get your moneys worth for buying WoNY.
Yes, indeed it is, and I'd take a wild guess that this will be the behavior going further too, gating everything behind a "Season," which you can only access if you pay up to be a NY Beta Tester.Originally Posted by Laucian_Nailor Go to original post
xBloodySin has already covered it, but yes - the Apparel Event is directly tied to the Seasonal content and you need to own and have beaten Warlords of New York in order to participate.
Full information on the Urban Jungle event can be found here.
This is something that really should be passed to the Dev team.
The Division 2 has one of the most uninteresting and uninspired item shops in any game I have
spent more than a dozen hours in.
Gating clothing behind seasonal events even further accentuates how boring the cash shop is.
Hire a new artist that can bring some inspiration to the apparel items.
PVE players like flash and there is already a metric crapton of bland outfits in the game for the PVPers.
I had to laugh, after I got that Hawaiian Shirt there was really nothing that interested me.
(meh, maybe the skull mask)
Maybe people would be spending more money on the items shop if it had some interesting items...
Just a thought.
What sort of apparel is more your style, if you don't mind my asking?Originally Posted by OsirisOTO Go to original post
