My friend was banned. He brought the game only to play with me a week after release. I helped him farm almost all of his gear.
He is the most outspoken person about hackers and glitches.
I didn't get banned and did not glitch. I told him maybe he was in a party with a glitcher that is the only thing we could think of.
He submitted a ticket and the response was "tough luck" basically.
So all the time I wasted gearing him up to catch up is being wiped, sorry but I am not going through all that again. It was at least 100 hours of work.
A lot of people who so called got caught up in this ban wave swipe seem to have played in groups with glitchers and maybe done more runs then just one with them and could have got caught up in the ban wave because of it, the whole this was an easy run should we do another mr random very high on dps meter person.....
If something seems to good to be true it usually is, and people who got "wrongfully" banned well that ignorance cost you unfortunately however in war you will always have innocent casualties and i consider these type of exploits to be abusive and in need off fighting to avoid the whole division 1 situation with glitchers and aimbot users like we had in darkzone in the first division game.
It sucks for the innocent people who just ended up in a group with some exploiters maybe 1 or 2 in the group, however we do not know the situation people often cry wolf when they know they messed up all we have is hearsay the person did nothing wrong and he was a good guy never dindunuffin wrong.....
Imo they just used selected leaderboard times as the criteria to ban people, because they already collect that info and secondly quite a lot of people who did not dps glitch got banned.Originally Posted by John_Wick117 Go to original post
We also know that quite a lot of people did dps glitch but were not banned. So that tells me, it was a deliberate choice not to ban everyone who dps glitched.
To OP, if your banned it won't get reversed. 10 guys in a support center in the subcontinent who have never played d2 can't do anything, especially when there are 10000 other similar tickets outstanding.
Source? All we know as fact is some small number of players are claiming they were banned and did not dps glitch. It's only their word. Does not mean it's true, and as a past GM of a private wow server, let me tell you , players will lie to you straight up, in and out, front to back, day to night that they didn't do the thing they were banned for - right up until you post the logs.Originally Posted by blueray789 Go to original post
That's not to say no-one got banned unfairly, but you're making a claim of "quite a few who did not dps glitch". If you want to be honest and clear, you would say "some - as yet small in number - players are reporting they got banned and that they did not use any dps glitch or other exploit".
Nor do you stop to consider that just because someone isn't banned today doesn't mean they won't be tomorrow. So many people willing to rush to conclusions and jump on bandwagons without really pausing to think.
The game is basically done..the main antagonist of the two games is gone..These events happening now in the game is just filler ****..I personally didn’t like the new targets being similar to the bounty system. I thought they’d create additional missions involving those characters.Originally Posted by Teigan. Go to original post
i have to say when keener died i felt closure...i refuse to believe faye lau went rogue after all we did in the division.Originally Posted by PAiN42O Go to original post
and it seems like content for the game now will just be one group after another...'oh we found out about another cell doing terrible things...go get them agent'
Massive have categorically stated in these forums that no-one was banned for match-making with glitch exploiters. From this we know they are looking at the actions of each individual account.
A lot of players who were banned are trying to create an opposite narrative, on the basis if they make enough noise people will start to believe there is something to it. Others, seeing the noise being made, see an opportunity to claim innocence and appeal for clemency on the basis of the noise being made.
If, as Massive have stated, no-one got banned for being in party with a glitcher but not actually glitching themselves, then it stands to reason that no-one claiming they got banned for being in a party with a glitcher is going to get unbanned on that basis.
