Ok, so I finally got it working. What had caused the problem for me WAS Avast Antivirus. However, making Uplay and steam whitelisted didn't seem to help, what fixed it was making an exception for the actually game files for Wildlands. That made it work. Thank you Admins for helping me, it was much appreciated. I hope this can help anyone else who might have these problems later.
