Hey rezemo12,
Thank you for reaching out to us and I am sorry to hear about the issue you're dealing with.
Is there any possibility you could forward us the image of the error code?
Also, in order to resolve the issue, try verifying your game files, disabling background applications (if you have any) and temporary disable your anti-virus program to see whether issue continues to persist.

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to forums!
If you haven't already, try completing steps outlined in the following article.
Should issue persist, is there any possibility you could send us screenshot of the error code?
I'm having this same problem. I've tried re-installing uplay, didn't fix it, i've tried updating my drivers, didn't fix it. I tried ending that one task that all the guides say to do, but i couldn't find it. I'm now reinstalling the game again in blind hope. Has anyone figured out how to fix this?

Thanks for reaching out, welcome to forums, and I am sorry to hear that after completing extensive troubleshooting issue remains.
Would you be able to advise whether this is the error message that you can get when you launch the game? Also, do you have screenshot of it by any chance?
@Ubi-Karl Yes, I do have a screen shot of the error message, but i do not believe i have the ability to post images. It's a GRW Application Error. It says:" the instruction at 0xf10e9d26 referenced memory at 0x00000018. The memory could not be written."
This is after i re-installed the game twice, and already re-installed Uplay. I'm pretty sure this is what the others in this post were having problems with also. If you can find anything that might help it would be much appreciated. Thank you.
Hey, thanks for getting back to us!Originally Posted by StarRuler32 Go to original post
It is possible to provide images but not to worry, knowing the full error message helps me enough
This is a Windows error that can affect any application, however in my experience this is usually a permissions issue or conflicting software.
Please make sure to try the following -
- Check your anti-virus! Make sure everything Uplay-related is whitelisted or try temporarily disabling the software
- Launch Uplay & the game application as administrator: https://support.ubisoft.com/en-GB/faqs/000025662/
- Disable all background applications and try again: https://support.ubisoft.com/en-GB/faqs/000025721/
Let us know how it goes!
Raziel, i tried all three ideas, Sadly none worked. I'm assuming this has something to do with windows messing up the pathway, since this computer had done that with my steam application before.
I'm sorry to hear that.Originally Posted by StarRuler32 Go to original post
In that case the next step would be to get your system files over to us to see if we can identify anything with those.
You can reach us either through the support website by opening a live chat session or alternatively through our social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter and they will be able to create a support case for you.
Once the case is open if you can attach the reports below to your case we'll take a look.
