Chests are always rolled as if they were on "Normal" difficulty (except the yellow reward chests in Control points, I think). The reasoning is that "there is no challenge to opening a box". I understand that this is true for lots of boxes in the game. But I think it's fairly obvious that it _is_ a challenge to _get to_ many boxes, and that it does not feel rewarding if these contain loot that does not reflect said challenge. So far though, the developers have not shown any indication that they are considering to change their stance.
Not to mention that you have to kill a lot of enemies on that specific difficulty of the mission to get to most of the chests anyway...Originally Posted by desrocchi Go to original post
I'm still puzzled by the logic that "opening a chest does not require any effort", because they really think that getting to the chests in heroic missions takes no effort even if you have to deal with heroic enemies on your way to reach the chests.
What? Is there's some notes somewhere about that?Originally Posted by Morieve Go to original post
I understand, SORT OF, where they’re coming from in the open world. But I do think that crates that are in a mission should scale to the difficulty of the mission.
Same thing for the crates that are locked behind supply room doors that you have to take a control point to access. The yellow crate already does, I think the other ones should scale to control point difficulty as well. Now if the control point remains green and the supply room door stays unlocked then when you come back the next day it should be back to regular.
It’s gotten to the point where some of the groups I’m in just skip opening the boxes in a mission.
Those are my thoughts, though I don’t know how difficult it would be to implement them.
You've got that wrong...Originally Posted by fixthedivision Go to original post
Try to get to a chest in a heroic mission without killing the mobs first... You'll die and never reach the chests![]()
Hello,
Containers in the open world and in mission can drop purple loot quality, as the containers do not check the difficulty and are also more of a bonus. While we can look to make changes in the future for this, we don't want it to be the best way to farm loot by identifying which missions have the most containers.
The only containers that scale with difficulty are the big yellow ones you find accessing the supply room after clearing a Control Point (just the big one, not the others around). If you received purple drops from those big yellow containers, please share some screenshots/videos so that I can send those to the team for further investigation.
Thank you.
Is that at any level CP from 1 to 4, on Challenging or Heroic ?Originally Posted by Ubi-Alien Go to original post
I did a challenging level 4 CP now I didn't get any purples, but I got a named weapon Surge with the lowest stats iv'e seen on virtually any weapon iv'e had in this game. for the most part.
I mean I can take getting items with stats just over half way to max on 1 or 2 Attributes, but getting a weapon with these stats is disheartening after doing it
6% Rifles damage
4% Critical hit Damage
2.9% Accuracy
And whilst we are at it The Pestilence that dropped On challenging difficulty came in at.
6% LMG Damage
5% DMG to target out of cover
3% Damage to Armour
Surely that can't be right.?
Feel like deja vu, but thank you for your help!Originally Posted by Ubi-Alien Go to original post
How about the frames rate dropping? On ps4 (pro) whenever i go for a control point LVL4 heroic, it's lagging and losing frame!
