Yeah, I finally got the blueprint for the Nemesis and crafted it for the first time last night. Tested it out in the firing range, and sure the damage that it does is impressive, but I just don't see myself actually using it in combat.

Between the severe sway when scoped, and having to charge it to get its full benefit, I'd much rather just stick to my White Death. Even though it's not quite as strong, it's got zero sway, and it hits for full damage instantly, every time.

IMO, the Nemesis as it is just has too many drawbacks and not enough advantages to really make it useful.

The biggest Problems I have with the way it works now is firstly that it does 0-100% instead of say 100-150% with if you want a lower base damage. That would mean you actually get rewarded for charging and not punished for not doing it. Also, maybe it should be for staying focused because releasing to fire is counterintuitive. The second Problem isn't really the Talents Problem but a gameplay one. Charging pretty much means staying out of cover, which means the Nemesis is useless on higher difficulties because you would just die.

What build are you running? I´am running 4 piece Aces (Mask, Holster, Gloves, Kneepads) rolled crit hit damage on them.
Named chest Sacrifice and Providence bagpack. Stats are 51% chc / 87% chd/ 280% hsd. Shooting range Heroic Named when aces is procced my Nemesis hits for 16 m without for 12 m and the rolls on it are like 70%ish.

4 Pieces Aces, Named Airaldi Chest with the Perfect Focused Talent, Airaldi Backpack.
Went with Headshot damage instead of Crit Damage.

My Backpack has garbage rolls, havnt farmed one with the right stats yet.

Also, most of my Gear has the "Weapon Handling" on them because i just have not found the right Stats yet, so i used my rerolls to max Headshot Damage first.

Kinda, but there are still neat ones out there.
The new Bulletking is pretty much how i imagined the Gunners Minigun. Press the trigger and dont release it until everything is dead.
Sweet Dreams can also be pretty neat.
Reworked Merciless doesnt sound that bad either, especially with the anounced buff.

Nemesis is just one of them that was hit too hard, without any new advantage. Its just an M700 with a weird quirk now.

I have to Correct my stats as I´ve been not logged in and them numbers haven´t been the Nemisis values but the ones of my SVD as I wrote them down.
CHC 48%/ CHD 102%/ HSD 208%. those are my stats when Nemisis is equipped and not holstered.
But DMG wise the Numbers i told you are correct. 16 m on Heroic Named Target in the shooting range.
Yesterday i saw a video of an sniperbuild which invested heavily into Headshot dmg an he pulled like 20 m dmg out of the Nemisis on Elite targets.
So my opinion on your matter is that your gearstats/rolls are simply not good enough to get the feeling of beeing a threat with the nemisis.
Also keep in mind when investing heavily into HSD you will have an harder time to crack Armor on Tanks Dogs and Minitanks.
And you need to really hit the heads consitentliy to take advantage of the HSD.
So at the end of the day i think the Nemisis is quite good when your gear has decent rolls but that´s true for all other weapons too cause your gearstats really matter when it comes to maximise your weapons dmg potential.

As for me Exotics are most situational. They are not for every fight use. So is the Nemesis. It is good for few first kills when the combat starts. or if adds are damn far so you can hit for a kill without being downed while aiming
