Newsflash. Tiandi is a bit too strong in 4v4s.

I would state all the reasons right now, but I’d like to focus one at a time before people start jumping on the “600 miliseconds bash is one of the slower bashes in the game” and the “he does like no damage” bandwagon.

Reason 1: We all know Tiandi has high survivability in team fights. Last Laugh is an overpowered feat to give to a character who takes forever to kill, so when you finally kill a tiandi you are literally forced to sit on a bomb and explode, and ultimately die. Note that laust laugh is a bomb. So it could kill the person who killed you AND people who didn’t deserve to die. Do not bring up “just dodge” because the timing on last laugh is VERY strict.

Something needs to be done about this. Especially when Tiandi, with as fast as his dodge lights are, are pretty much neutral undodgables that you barely have time to escape from. You are forced to play with your guard up. We should also take into account that he does have a strong sprinting attack in 4v4s as it catches people with the weirdest tracking. I’d evaluate “weirdest” but I feel that this is a thing you should test for yourself.

**IMPORTANT NOTE: It does not matter if laugh laugh can kill your teammates. It’s overpowered because your teammates don’t always have to be next to you. The enemy DOES because they need to kill you, unless your going to plan to have tiandi killed last during the breaking scene which means:

    1. Tiandi is going to be poking you from mid to end game like a luxury
    2. You can’t just rely on feats to kill someone or the ballista you are going to have to get close at some point and this is what makes last laugh a problem.

And please take into account that running from a tiandi is quite hard when you’ve already engaged.

I think you need to take into account that last laugh isn't used by most tiandi's that kwtd, at least I don't and my friends that play him don't. Second, the feat is strong because of its cooldown.

Nuxia's Sprint attack goes a mile. Most Sprint attacks track like mad. Even my baby nobushi. So that's not really a valid argument or problem in any way. Wardens does the same lol. Or Shaolin.

Stop dodging and focus on blocking then, if your offence is killed by an aggressive tiandi, just chill and block/party. He has one tool to force a dodge and benefit on it(zone cancel into kick cancel, or kick cancels). This uses like 60% stamina or something like that. If he's sitting there, palm bashing you, then be offensive, assuming your playing a character fast enough.

There are so many stronger characters in 4v4s lol I realllly wouldn't be worried about tiandi.

There is no damage on hes punch, the kick has no follow up attacks that can hit it reliably, and he has no unblockable heavy.

the only thing they have done to him is reduce the zone attack stamina cost so he can work on the minions, apart from the he is as ****ty as he has ever been and in dire need of buffs.
of all the vanguards, he is THE worst one!

Kensei is worser. A mixup that can be interrupted because of an incredibly slow top heavy. Kensei has nothing.

Raider is good in 4’s and semi-decent in duels while Tiandi is good in duels and semi-strong in 4’s so that’s the middle ground of vanguards with Tiandi being better than raider.

Warden is the best duelist and crappy in 4’s but I’d say warden is #1.

I have no doubt that Tiandi is second best.

But with the last laugh discussion...
Last Laugh is a double edged sword. It won’t always work in Tiandi’s favor.

I am sure Kensei bests tiandi in 4v4. Hard to tell in 1v1, Kensei has brutal damage numbers. Raider is the same story. Warden is clearly better, though if I am correct that matchup sucks for hím in a tiandi duel.

Last Laugh is a crap feat, it is not in your control how you use it.

Kensei can bait people who try to reaction stuff his pommel mix up. Tiandi doesn't have any mix ups even remotely close to being as threatening as kensei is. And kensei's mix ups are not even great.

Raider is a better pick than Tiandi. He has feats that actually benefit his team. Raider is a better ganker and team fighter. Both are bad at single picks.

Warden isn't the best duelist. LB is. Then BP.

pretty sure he was saying warden was the best duelist out of the vanguards which is true, but i might have misinterpreted what he was saying. kensei amazing in 4v4/brawls but lacking in 1v1 raider nerfed but still contributes in 4v4 great gank, lacking in 1v1, warden amazing 1v1 not good in 4v4, tiandi only vanguard to contribute well in both duels and 4v4
